I don’t really know much about legal processes or who to talk to for what situation, so if you could help, that would be great. Once I am more financially stable, I am going to have my own guinea pig rescue. I will be a non-profit rescue, and in order to be recognized as one, I know you need to fill out the proper paperwork with an attorney. So, who would I want to look for and contact?
Thank you so much in advance!

She is an 8 week old basset and she fell going down the stairs on our porch. She doesn’t seem to be in any pain, but she holds her head to left all of the time and she doesn’t have much control over her back left leg. The vet said to keep her in a crate for a month and give her an anti-inflammatory. If that doesn’t work she will need surgery. I can’t afford the surgery (between 2,000 and 4,000 dollars), does anyone else have any suggestions?
Yes, she can still wag her tail. She gets around ok, but she falls a lot. The surgery that was recommended would basically be putting pins and screws in her neck to straighten it out.

I had a cervical discectomy with fusion and began having severe electrical like pain in my low back after surgery. I’ve had back pain ever since then, several years now. After a recent MRI now I have severely bulging disks in the lumbar area and have been told it’s common to have another part of the spine go bad after surgery on another area of the spine. Anyone ever had this happen to them also? This is a work comp injury and they are denying the surgery I need for my low back and stating it’s not related to the neck injury and surgery I’ve already had. Who else has had this happen to them? Please let me know. Thanks!
I had low back pain with left leg numbness before my surgery. Because it wasn’t the primary area of concern or was it the worst pain, there wasn’t much focus on it. The low back pain before surgery was an achy deep burning pain. After the surgery it became a sudden sharp electrical pain. Since then the pain has changed back and forth to the point I never know how it will affect me each day, which kind of pain I will have. Because work comp will only treat the part of your body they think is related to the injury, the only part of my spine they did the MRI on was the cervical area. It wasn’t until after the surgery and several months later that the ortho doc ordered the lumbar MRI and that’s when they found all the bulging discs and pinched nerve. A recent MRI of the same area shows it’s gotten much worse and now with retrolisthesis. They refuse to settle my case but also refuse to treat my low back. I developed post traumatic fibromyalgia after cervical surgery too. Any suggestions?

In Los Angeles Personal Injury Lawyer services are highly sought after, due to many victims of personal injury searching for justice and reparations for damages that have been incurred whether financial or emotional.

I am 5’5" and weigh 250 pounds. I have a back injury as well. I am looking for a thrill and thought of exercise. I manage to get a thrill out of it when jogging on the treadmill. I was wondering if I should get a sport or hobby that would be low impact, but exhilirating. I want something that is challenging and rewarding.

If you hire a personal injury lawyer on contingency and they decide not to litigate, would you owe them any fees for doctor’s visits that they fronted?
The agreement says "NO FEES IF NO RECOVERY" but did sign a "Doctor’s Lien" so don’t know if I would owe for doctor’s visits.

I had spinal fusion surgery back in December. I have never had relief from the pain (6 months after surgery) and learned yesterday that 2 of the screws have broken and they suspect a failed fusion. While this certainly answers my question about why I’m still in so much pain, I’m not sure what to do about it. This pain is dibilitating and I don’t know how much longer I can take it but if I don’t go back to work I’ll lose my job….Anyone else been through this? I feel like I’m starting all over.

Does an auto loan through capital one require collision and comprehensive insurance? I’m assuming it does but want to find out and they aren’t open right now.

I was treated by a doctor for 9 months for back and neck injury following an auto accident. I requested my medical records from him so my attorney can start my settlement claim, and was recently told by his old secretary that he never kept records, charts or anything on patients. What can I do to get information from him about my treatment etc., since it is vital to my case.

A physician whom I was a patient of, began sexually harrassing me for the duration of our doctor/patient relationship. I then started to bring my husband with me once I felt this harrassement was getting out of control. A few months later, I fired the physician from treating me. He is a specialist and it is difficult to find a good specialist in this particular field, which is why I put up with it as long as I did (about 7 months). What is the first step I need to take, and will I be taken seriously, since I waited 6 months after firing him, to file a lawsuit?
