Badgers football game a few years a player was running into the endzone and snapped both the tibia and fibula. GROSS. And they kept replaying it over and over.
this is the worst soccer injury I’ve seen (the pic). But I also saw the game France played btw Argentina or Portugal, and Xavier (I think he’s name is) gave the guy on the other team a head bud in the chest… ouch!

I have seen a boot top lower compound lower leg fracture, where the edge of the broken bone tore through the skin and pant leg. I had to pick up a chip of the bone and preserve it for surgical repair. The guy was in crazy pain.
I also responded to a sky diver who landed wrong, drove tib-fib (lower leg bones) into his femur (thigh bone) dislocated his hip and his ankle. Also shattered his wrist and had a compression fracture of L3, L4 and L5. The fool still jumps from perfectly serviceable aircraft!
compound fracture on a guys forearm in wrestling
My friend was playing a soccer game, and she jumped up for a header, and so did the defended, and the defender headbutted her in the nose, and it broke out of shape, and was bleeding all over the place.
Joe Theisman breaking his leg against the Giants was graphically bad. Sid Vicious breaking his leg in a wrestling match was hard to watch.
Those were the worst I have seen.
