maybe not – did you go to the school nurse? Is there a record of the injury at the school? Did you go to the hospital the same day? You will have a leg to stand on (no pun intented) if you have supporting documents – the school has insurance and you need to give them the opportunity to resovle the problem.
You can try, but I seriously doubt you will be successful. Since you didn’t immediately report the injury to the school right away, the school can easily contest the injury and where and when it took place. I am sorry, but you are stuck with the bill.
