I had a lumbar puncture about two months ago. I have had back pain at the puncture site (especially when in forward flexion for a while) and left-sided headaches ever since. I used to be a powerlifter and developed quite thick ligaments along my spine because of the deadlifts. When the dr. did the puncture, he had to get a second needle because the first one bent. Is it possible that he poked too many holes or my supraspinous ligament tore? How can you tell if you have a CSF leak? and where does it leak to and from? Please let me know what you think as I would like to get rid of this back pain and these headaches. Thanks!

Apparently my lumbar doesn’t curve enough and I have a lot of lower back problems. I have been to see our team physiotherapist and she said that is what causes tight hamstrings…but all they really do is a massage on my back. Anyone currently have this and know what I can do? Please only respond if you are knowledgeable on the subject. Thanks!

I found out recently that I have those. What are my treatment options and what are some general advice for having those? And I was turned down by some ass hole judge at a hearing, because it wasn’t serious enough for him to the fact that, I will have to have surgery on my back and go through rehabilitation for a few months and a herniated disk to boot. Should I sue the judge individually for being discriminative towards me in general? I have 3 doctors backing me upon how serious my back problems are.

My fiance had his 4th back surgery. This time they removed a section of the lamina in his lumbar spine to relieve the pressure on the nerves. He now has a bony lump (which is getting worse) at the top of his incision. Is this normal after this type of surgery? It is extremely painful when it’s touched and he’s 3 weeks out of surgery. The docs said they would need to watch the stability of his spine after this surgery, is this an indication that it’s weakening or just a normal lump from the removal?

I have 2 bulging discs, mild diffuse in my lumbar spine from an injury to my sacrum 4 years ago. I’ve been trying to sleep on my back-usually sleep on my tummy but this causes a stiff neck. The following day after sleeping on my back, I get rectal spasms. Could the bulging discs be the cause?

I have a compressed L5 and sometimes it pinches my sciatic nerve. Anyway, is there a certain way I should sleep to help my back from getting too inflamed? I wake up sore as heck everyday!
