How do I pop my lower back? As in the lumbar area?
can a rheumatologist do a lumbar puncture?
I was ordered by an ER doctor to get a lumber puncture if head pressure symptoms did not disapear in 48 hours. He also made me an appt. with a rheumotologist this Tues. Should I wait to see the rheumotologist, can they do a lumbar puncture in office? Or will they make me go to an outpatient facility anyway? If so I am thinking just go back to the ER because the pressure in the base of my skull and sinus area is real bad. I have already been treated for sinuses and allergies so I know this is not causing it. Thanks
Can your lumbar nerve be affected after you have meniscus surgery.?
How bad does a lumbar nerve block hurt??
I’m horriffied of getting this procedure done, it’s for pain relief, but I’m so scared about the injection itself.
I’ve heard conflicting opinions on this, but now that I’m having one done in 2 weeks, I’m really freaking out.
I’ve always bbeen scared of these things: Catheters, intebation (breathing tub thingy). and epidurals…
I’m pretty sure they’ll use numbing injection first, oh God, I hope so…
I’m really, REALLY scared about this, and I’m afraid that if it hurts too badly that I’ll jerk (I ALWAYS do when I hurt) and I’ll end up paralyzed.
What is your advice for the day of the procedure?
(please gimme some good news!)
I had a Lumbar Strain or sprain over 3 months ago and still have pain. When will it fully heal?
I Spained/Strained my lumbar region while doing weighted squats 3 months ago. At the time i was using a tight belt to avoid this type of injury but i guess i didnt have right form as i hurt it anyway. At first i was in a ton of pain. My doctor sent me for an MRI and it came back normal. After about 6 weeks of physical therapy and taking it easy my back pain FULLY subsided.
So i decided to start to workout again, but this time no squats, no deadlifts, or anything that would be too much for my back. So all i did was lift up hand weights and then i heard a pop in my back WITH NO PAIN. The pain started about 24 hours later, not as bad as my original injury, but it hurts and when i move aroudn too much it aggrevates it. So i decided to stay away from weights PERMANENTLY.
I dont understand what is goign on. Ever since the original injury by back is much more suseptable to injury then ever before. Will there be a time when its FULLY back to normal or will i always need to watch my back forever? Or will it take many more months to get better? What can i do to get my back back to the way it was?
Remember my MRI came out normal so its definelty sprain/strain.
Any help please
Thanks!
I had a lower lumbar fusion several years ago.?
I am on percoset for pain relief. It really doesn’t work well and it makes me so tired. Is anyone in the same situation as me? What meds do you take?

Has anyone heard of TFAS the flexible spinal joint, used for lumbar stenosis?
My boyfriend was offered this as part of a clinical trial in lieu of laminotomy laminectomy (potential fusion)…it’s an appliance placed in the back, instead of fusing 3 vertebra it goes between two and it allows a nearly full range of motion. It’s new, but I wondered if anyone else had gone through this procedure?
My left ear been ringing for the past 2 months after I had a fall and went thru lumbar MRI.?
Had seen a specialist on this but with no avail. Just wonder any one who can advise me whether I can go the swimming pool to dip right in so that the water will flood my ear to ease the ringing sound.
Pls help as it is disturbing my sleep and I cannot be consulting doctor who checked my hearing is ok and it seems that the only I can do is listening to CD to overcome this disturbances.
Features that help you Distinguish Cervical, thoracic, & lumbar from each other?

Is lumbar spinal stenosis curable?
Its at multiple levels and medicines have mild effect only. Is the surgery possible in this case? Any input, especially from personal experience, would be highly helpful.
can people with bad lumbar and sliped disc get medical marijuana?
I came down with severe bone pain in my right thigh, right hip and lumbar spine. I could barely walk?
I thought I had a broken femur, although there was no trauma to any part of my body. I went to the hospital, they took x rays of all the bones, found no fractures, no dislocations. Pain continues to come and go, mostly come. I am immobilized. What’s wrong and what to do?
Its been 4 days already
