I just started taking the pill yesterday and I smoke weed pretty much every day during the week.
The doctor told me that smoking cigarettes while on the pill will increase my risks of cardiovascular injuries and what not.

I was just wondering if smoking weed while on the pill will have the same if not worse side effects as smoking cigarettes?

My wife was in a major wreck that left her with a broken hip, muscle, and nerve damage. She was pregnant at the time and soon gave birth following the accident, however, the doctors could only help her with pain and could not treat the injury for fear of hurting the baby ( her request). She still has a fracture that did not come together and heal. We fuaght the disabillity thing and won but four years later it was taken away from her because she was "Re-evalutated by a quack. Now, she can’t even get out of bed or walk. My wife is only 35 and I need to take her and have a real doctor correct this condition, if possible. I don’t want to think that my insurance would not cover this because it is a (pre-existing condtion), after all, the best doctors that the government has say that there is nothing wrong with her. does anyone have any input? I can’t see her it this pain anymore. It couldn’t be pre-existing if the condition does not exist, am I right or just ignorant to the fact.

For all of you who’ve given birth, how long did it take you to recover and feel "normal" again? Did you have any "injuries" related to childbirth that kept you from being active, exercising, and feeling good (like tailbone pain, anemia, joint pain, etc)?

I was in Sanibel and i saw a bird with one leg. It depressed me very much, and i saw it almost everyday that i was on the beach. There was no sign of a stump or a leg or a massive injury. I just couldnt help but think, How did it happen? Birth defect? Bitten off? Idk what do you think?

is this a bad thing?

It does not take away a womans right to get an abortion,even if it would mean she could only get a first trimester abortion that’s three months to get it done. That is more time than I had from the first symptoms of a back injury to the end of my recovery time after surgery. Why does someone need longer for a procedure that from start to finish takes perhaps a week to arrange,a few hours at the "doctor" and a recovery time of perhaps a week?

A few days ago I found a one winged field sparrow at work. When I got home I examined it more closely and found that it was defiantly an injury and not a birth defect. I treated the wound and am giving it vitamins. It is healing very nicely, eating and drinking, and very active. Sadly I know it cannot be released since a predator would get it.

It seems content but I would like to find a companion for it. Since I can’t seem to find Sparrows in pet stores or online to buy I would like to know if there is another species of bird that would be compatible. I also am not sure how to tell what sex it is.

I am a 29 year old female. I fell about 3 and half weeks ago on my knee during a volleyball practice (I coach middle school girls) and bruised my knee very deeply. After three weeks, I am still having trouble kneeling on my knee and putting pressure on it. What troubles me the most is that since about last Monday, there has been a really tight, red area behind my knee cap. It does not produce a stabbing pain, but just an annoying, dull ache. The area is red and a little inflamed. I don’t feel badly otherwise. I don’t smoke nor am I on any birth control. I have normal blood pressure, but I am a little overweight. Though I am overweight, I keep active by walking and playing sports. Do I need to really worry about this being a blood clot or is it just an effect of a deep tissue bruise? Like I said, I have always heard that clots hurt BADLY and this doesn’t, but at the same time, I live alone in a town away from my family and I am getting a little worried.

Want to hear personal experiences about how bad the pain was or if it wasn’t as bad as you had anticipated. Please, No "everyone is different" answers. I know this already. I’m considering natural birth as after many low back injuries, an epidural might not work for me. I was in very good physical shape before pregnancy and have endured horribly painful periods my whole life, so I’m no wuss. Please also rate your pain experience a 1-10 (10 being the most excruciating pain). Thanks everyone.
