I am wondering, if someone has a shot of Southern Comfort when they have a headache, when their body aches like an injury pinched nerve acts up, when they have a sore throat etc. is that too much? To me, my comfort level, there are medicines that can help and why not try these first, then slap a shot of hard liquor back. Am I wrong to feel this way? Or is it all in what your comfort level is?
I started to get this random shooting pain in my upper back. It’s not like excruciatingly painful, but it is very uncomfortable and it really hurts. I don’t recall doing anything to it. I crack my back all the time, but never the upper part of it. Maybe the way I slept or something? And I’m only 18, so it’s not like it’s from old age. Shooting pain at random times of the day. Pinched nerve or..what. Anything I can do to help it?
My mom has had 3 hernia surgeries in the last 4 years, and she’s had her appendix and gal bladder taken out. About 6 months ago she started having severe pains in her lower abdomen, and she’s been to her doctor, she’s had a cat scan, and several other tests, and they’ve showed nothing. So she had an appointment with a surgeon today, and he says she has a pinched nerve, and she could have shots or try to loose some weight (but he dosen’t think that would really help), and sent her home. So I wanted to know if anyone else has had this happen, and if so, what did you do?
i noticed my arm falling asleep alot no matter what position i have it. and when i sleep its real bad ill wake up and it hurts bad enough to keep me awake cuz its been asleep so long. is it a pinched nerve? could me cracking my neck have caused it? what do i do for it?
I think I have a pinched nerve in my delta/shoulder muscle, and I really don’t want to go to the doctor. the pain radiates all through my shoulder and I can’t turn my head to the left at all and very little to the right. I’ve tried heat, cold and ibuprofen; nothing is working! >_<
how do i get rid of the pain?
so will the aspirin take care of the right now pain?
Will it just fix itself?
Or will it makes something worse?
Or just stay the same?
(I think I have a pinched nerve in my lower back.)
Arm keeps going numb and it depends on posture, activity, etc. It comes and goes. Maddening during the day and impossible to sleep. It’s not cardiac, don’t say go to the ER. Starts right past my shoulder and goes to my fingertips. Been going on for months. Usually if I wait long enough, aches and pains go away. This one is stubborn.
Does that sound like a pinched nerve? Is there a non-MD ways to address it?
I pulled my mussle or have a pinched nerve in my sholder and it hurts real bad ! What can i do? I can’t turn left or right!
I have pinched nerve from what I can tell it is my femoral nerve. I have been losing strength in my thigh muscle to the point if I bend my knee with too much wieght on my right side I go down like brick. I’ve taken muscle relaxers, put ice on it, and have taken probably more motrin than i should have and still can’t releive the pain. I haven’t seen the doctor yet. I’m trying to exhaust every treatment I can think of before I go. I will most likely go friday if i can’t heal it myself. If someone has any other advice please let me know. If you are in the medical field and say go to the Doc that is cool too.
I’ve had several serious injuries. A motorcycle accident, separated left shoulder playing Hockey, separated right shoulder playing Football.
Anyway, now I get pains in my neck/shoulder/back fairly often, and it appears to be a nerve, as I can almost trace the line of pain.
What is the best thing to do without resorting to medication?
I’ve had some terrible pain in my back for 3 weeks. I went to see my doctor twice and she insisted that it was only some muscle pain which could be relieved by doing some sports, swimming for example. I tried sports but it didn’t help. I had my chest X-rayed and it said there was nothing wrong. Then I tried an analgesic rub used by athletes for muscle and joint pain and it worked very well but didn’t give me a permanent relief. I suspect that it might be a pinched nerve and I don’t know what to do with it.
It usually starts in the afternoon, getting worse and worse before I go to bed.
I am 23 and otherwise I’m functioning very well.
My puppy, a cocker spaniel, is 10 weeks old. He is really curious and one night when I had him out using the restroom, he tried to run towards a boxer 6xs his size. I grabbed him and accidently stepped on his back foot. I was bare footed but he started to cry. He ran up the steps, but when I grabbed him and picked him up to baby him….its like he couldnt move. He was breathing, but his legs seems as if they were stuck in place. I place him on the ground and he couldnt move. Tonight, we were both playing on the couch and I noticed the same thing. He just sat there…again he was breathing but couldnt move…but then he got back to normal…also I notice when he is sleep…he shakes alot…I ask a vet student and he said it was normal because he was dreaming…can someone please let me know what is wrong with him!!
ok idk whats the matter. whenever i focus on something like writing notes down or typing and the only thing moving is my fingers, i get this tingling feeling in the bottom tip of my right shoulder blade. it just started a couple of days ago. any ideas on what this might be?
ps whenever i touch it it doesnt hurt….
or what could it be, it stared yesterday, its not better today, my arm from my shoulder to the tip of my fingers feels tingly, and everyonce in a while my legs do too. Should I see a chiropractor or my doctor?
