Have any of you had a pinched nerve in your back because you were/are pregnant? I am 5 months pregnant and in so much pain sometimes I can’t even walk. Does this go away while you are still pregnant or does it go away after you have the baby. If this keeps up can the doctor put me on bed rest or something? It is extremely hard to sit here at my desk and work when I am in so much pain. Also, I haven’t and don’t want to take any sort of medicine while pregnant or use heating pads so any home remedies would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
P.S. I have already gone to the doctor and she said it would have to run its course.

my boyfriend has been having terrible back pain from a pinched sciatic nerve for the past week. he has a hard time getting up from a sitting position, bending over and lately hasnt even been able to pick up our 17 month old daughter. we cannot afford to send him to a chiropractor or a doctor so does anyone know of any stretches or homeopathic remedies that would help relieve some of the pain? thank you!

I believe I have a pinched nerve right where I check my pulse at on my neck. When I lay down I feel like Im going to pass out. Is this fatal?

There is a certain spot on my ankle (just offset from the centre of the bone) that when touched sends a tingling sensation to the outside top portion of my foot. For example when I cross my legs I can really feel it. If pressure is put on it long enough it also starts to hurt. What is this? A pinched nerve? How can I treat it?

I’ve had some terrible pain in my back for 3 weeks. I went to see my doctor twice and she insisted that it was only some muscle pain which could be relieved by doing some sports, swimming for example. I tried sports but it didn’t help. I had my chest X-rayed and it said there was nothing wrong. Then I tried an analgesic rub used by athletes for muscle and joint pain and it worked very well but didn’t give me a permanent relief. I suspect that it might be a pinched nerve and I don’t know what to do with it.
It usually starts in the afternoon, getting worse and worse before I go to bed.
I’ve felt some tingling and burning sometimes, but not always.

My boyfriend is 17 and he pinched a nerve in his neck. He says it will just go away but I’m not convinced. He can’t move his head or neck other than left to right. His left shoulder also hangs lower than his right. I’m afraid that if he doesn’t get it treated he will be stuck like that. Should he have it treated or will it heal on it’s own?
I know that it can be treated but does it have to be? Because she isn’t going to go see anyone about it. He is stubborn and is sure that it will be okay.

I am a healthy 63 yo. male, Mri-diagnosed with a pinched nerve in the C-5 disk. This results in pain in both shoulders. I’ve had 2 cortisone shots in the back of my right shoulder and 2 epidural injections in the disk, with no relief.
Over the counter meds and prescription drug Ansaid haven’t helped.
I’m considering a Chiropractor.
So much for the retirement years!
Any suggestions….I want to play golf again

he is a springer ,13 yrs good health except arthritis. he was sleeping in his chair ,which is low to ground.he awoke and when he got down he was uncoordinated, and it was like his left front leg was dead,as he dragged it and his right rear leg the same.he would fall when he walked.it took about an hour before it went away. could he have had a little stroke or pinched nerve??

My left shoulder and arm are killing me, the left side of my neck hurts slighty and my left hand is shaky.

I went to a chiropractor years ago for neck problems on that same side, but it got very expensive and time consuming.

Does this sound like a pinched nerve to anyone that may have experienced it? Are there any other remedies besides adjustments by a chiropractor?

I believe i have a pinched nerve
at times it has gotten so bad that i could not walk
it goes from my back through my butt and down my leg
I keep asking my mom to take me to the doctor and im sure she will soon
but is there anything i can do to help it has hurt 24/7 for the last month

I had a spinal tap done about 2 weeks ago (most painful thing I have ever experienced) and while doing the procedure he hit the nerve that went to my leg and also to my private man-part

Anyhow after about 7 days of spinal headaches that were making me vomit everyday I now have what feels like a pinched nerve in my right leg, the same one that hurt during the spinal tap. So is this just part of the healing process or should I go back into the doc?

3 days ago I woke up with the feeling of pins and needles in my hands. It has not subsided. Now when ever I make a fist I get an extreme tingling feeling that almost feels like I’m being shocked. Could this be due to a pinched nerve?

I think I have a pinched nerve. My neck is real stiff this morning and I barely got any sleep last night because I had a nagging pain from my elbow down to my hand/wrist. So, I assume it’s a pinched nerve. Do I wait it out, or call the doc for a pain killer?? What’s the remedy??
