I was just wondering if there were any stretches or something I could do to get that nerve back in place in my neck. It’s been hurting for a while now, just stings when I turn my head side to side.

My husband was doing some yard word and he felt a sharp nerve between his shoulder blades. I have been rubbing his back with a heat rub and he has been taking Aleve for the pain. It is ok when he is laying down but when he gets up and starts moving around it starts hurting. What kinda over-the -counter medicine should he be taking and what can we do?

I have had a spot in my back that has been staying numb for about a year or so. The neuro seems to think it is a sciatic nerve problem. Anyway I normally have no problem when it comes to using the restroom, but for about six months it has been terrible, and I would like to know if this could be the cause of constipation.

My mom has a pinched nerve in her lower back and she’s having surgery this week. She’s tried other things and taken pain meds, but nothing has helped. It only got worse and now, it’s hard for her to walk or sleep. Anyone ever had or known someone to have pinched nerve surgery? I’m just a little worried about her and how long will she be in recovery?

I am 20 years old and I recently started working out again doing rock climbing, etc. I have had problems with my shouler before and I really do think it is a pinched nerve or something to do with the muscle. What would be most helpful, getting a massage or going to the chriopractor? THanks for the help.

I have a pinched nerve in my shoulder?
When I move my arm in a certain way my whole arm from my shoulder to my hand goes numb. I know it’s a pinched nerve in my shoulder because I can feel the tenseness there.
My question is: Should I go to a chiropractor or to a message therapist
Or, is there something I can do as a home remedy?

I was on a walk last Friday, swinging my hands, front to back, as I walked. About 10 minutes into my walk I felt my right arm getting heavy. I tried swinging my arms more to shake it off. After about 3-5 minutes the heaviness went away. I walked for about 30 min.
When I got home, I spent about 30 min cracking shelled peanuts with my hand.
A few hours later I felt a pain in my thumb area(palm side). The pain felt like it was starting to cramp. When I woke the next morning this thumb area was VERY sore. Cramping feeling. I could not grab anything or make a fist. I do have the start of arthritis in my hands my doctor has told me. I am 48 y/o female. My neighbor tells me it’s just arthritis but I think it’s more like a pinched nerve.
I made a doc appt for Wed., but this is killing me. I’ve done the ice pack but that only relieves it as long as I keep the ice on.
Anyone know any hand exercises I can do?
****I did see the doctor and he confirmed this is a pinched nerve. He got the same thing a few years ago and said he knew it was extremely painful. He said when most sleep at night they sleep with their wrist curved cutting off blood supply. This pinched nerve prolly happened when I was walking but deeply set in while sleeping. I am to wear a carpel tunnel wrist brace while sleeping for the next week. And take Aleeve for the inflammation. He also gave me some other pain meds for during the day. Thanks for any answers.
