I went to drs. an he said I possibly have a pinched nerve in back of my neck.Sent me yesterday for xrays.If I do,what will they wanna do?

I have a Sharp pain in my right shoulder blade area that I assume to be a pinched nerve. Pain ‘radiates’ around the spot and my right arm/hand is tingly/semi-numb. The pain started happening Thursday morning, it’s now Sunday afternoon an getting worse. Pain killers havent done anything… Doctors appt? Thanks!

I’m pretty sure thats what I have in my right knee. The pain shoots down my leg and sometimes it feels numb. I thought it was a toen MCL but an MRI assured it was not.

I have been experiencing pain for about 3 weeks on my right side and left side. A little in my back and pelvic area. I did a cat scan without contrast and the radiologist said that the liver was enlarged. My doctor did a bloodtest and one of the liver enzymes were slightly elevated. He checked the liver and it was a normal size. He sent me for another cat scan with contrast because the other one got lost. That one came out normal. I went to the ER because no pain medicine was helping. They did a chest x-ray as well as an abdominal x-ray. Normal. Sonogram was taken and it showed the liver enlarged. Doctor in hospital called my GP. GP said that I should go for an MRI of the spine as it can be a pinched nerve. Can the 2 of them be related? If the cat scan came out normal then why did the sonogram show the liver enlarged? What does it mean liver enlarged? Can it be that that is my normal size liver? If it is a pinched nerve then do I worry about the liver? The liver tests showed normal

What are the symptoms of a pinched nerve in your hip? My husband can’t move without shooting pain or walk without severe pain. It started when he bent down to pick up a golf ball.

I suspect it is from sitting ergonomically incorrect. Could a pinch nerve be the cause?

For a couple days now my right fore arm by my wrist has been numb and tingly, and slightly swollen. It doesn’t hurt at all it’s just annoying. So will it go away on its own?

There’s a tingling sensation in my pinky finger and elbow. Not pain, just a wierd sensation. Does this require surgery? Or is there something else I can do to relieve the feeling?

Ive had a pinched nerve for two weeks, it feels like knife being pushed between my spinal bone. At times it feels like my viens is being pulled out of my arm, the pain hurts. I’ve had my back cracked, and twisted. I’ve read that it can last for months, I can hardly sleep.

What can I do ?

I’m talking about serious medical procedures here. Do not suggest chiropractics, homeopathic remedies, reflexology, magnet therapy, or prayer. I want suggestions that can actually help my dad recover, to strengthen his back, and to relieve his constant pain. One more serious injury could permanently disable him, so I need some serious suggestions as to how he can have a swift return to health.

I can turn my head to the right, but I can’t to the left. It hurts!
I think I slept weird the Saturday night.

I heard that Xanax can "relax muscles" and my muscles are sore from working out at the gym, with my nerve (around shoulder/arm, idk) hurting extremely bad to the point where I want to go to sleep so I don’t have to suffer for a while. Would Xanax help at all?
