What did/do you do to help it heal, or what helped reduce pain? I’m in a lot, and just found out that it’s a herniated disc causing the pain.

Well I have three of them, used to be four and severe spinal stenosis. You should be happy you only have one and nothing more wrong. Of course you’re not , it does hurt a lot I know. Your best bet is a good chiropractor. They are the ones trained to put this disc back. No one else can do anything about it without surgery and that is usually not the best option. I have been suffering with this since 1979 and there is not any help for me and I will soon in a wheelchair. Do it now while they can still help you. You will be amazed at how quickly they can fix this for you I think. I have three friends who have had the surgery without success. Doctors don’t like to send you to a chiropractor still. They have always been like this, it seems they don’t like it when you can be fixed by someone with other thoughts on the matter than theirs.

I’m not sure there is such a thing as a herniated disc: I’ve seen models of the human spine and there ain’t no discs in ‘dere. I’ve also seen racoon spines in the first person and they do have discs between the vertibrae. I’ve been told that I have a herniated disc and I get a total disability pension from the gov. but there something fishy here. My x-rays don’t show any disc.
once you slip a disc, it done. there is no way to fix it besides surgery. you can do certain stretches to sort of put you spine back into alignment. concentrate on strengthening your core muscles. stomach, back etc. stretches-lay on you back. thrust your hips upwards for several reps. lay on your back put one leg over the other and slowly twist your hips from side to side. make sure tighten your stomach muscles when lifting, bending, and exerting force…good luck…be careful
