How can i get oxycontin for the bulging disc in my neck?
P.S. I know what some of you are thinking and you don’t have a clue what your talking about. Someday if your really lucky, you’ll get e herniated disc or bulging disc and have it crush your nerve and make you want to die and wish for it everyday. I truely hope that the ones that ( think ) i’m a drug user get a herniated disc someday and can feel my pain.

Is there any reason you want oxycontin in particular? Or are you just hoping for a strong prescription medicine that will help with the pain? Because I have to tell you, asking how to get a specific pain killer by name like that does raise alarm bells in many people’s minds.
That said, sometimes strong gradual-release opioids really are the best (or the only) remedy for severe pain. Anybody who suffers from chronic pain understands where you’re coming from. If your doctor has been reluctant to prescribe pain killers for you, ask for a referral to a pain management clinic or a pain management doctor. But by all means, don’t ask for oxycontin specifically! It does make you look like a drug seeker, and besides, it’s by no means the only pain killer that might help in your situation.
Go to the doctor, tell them whats wrong if they dont already know about whats wrong with you. They should prescribe something for your pain. Though if you walk in and specifically ask for oxy then they may be a little suspicious of you and take into account how long you may have been taking it, the dosage, and all that.
Just go to the doctor.
wow, really you coming off so defensive when noones even answered your question yet really makes you look like a drug user before we even have the chanc to judge.
oxycontin isnt going to do anything but worsen your situation. it is a VERY addictive drug and even if you may not be a drug user, it could MAKE you one. this drug only masks your very very hurtful pain and once it wears off, will leave you with more excruciating pain.
you really need to talk to your doctor and see what other options you have, i urge you NOT to take oxycontin.
Oxicontin or any other pain drug will not make your neck better, only mask symptoms.
What you really need to do is see a good HMO list Chiropractor (even if you dont’ have insurance, they are the best) about 12 times to really make a difference.
People with bulging discs and hernias CAN get better without surgery - they need to be smart enough to seek out the right care (Chiropractic) and to stick with it.
Good luck.
Heather - Before answering questions, don’t be so damn ignorant - do a bit of research first. Studies have proven that people in severe pain can take strong narcotic medications like morphine and oxycontin without any addiction. When (or if) the pain is ever relieved, 97% of people have no problem stopping narcotics with no withdrawl symptoms. Also, people in extreme pain do NOT experience a “high” from narcotics. That’s only for idiots who take these meds when they have no pain. Yes, this drug DOES mask your very very hurtful pain. That’s why people take it! Not every pain can be solved - some things are not treatable, and people have to live in pain. Instead of being bedridden in pain, give these people some medication and allow them to be productive members of society. It’s people like you, who are uninformed, who have people who really could benefit from these drugs scared to take them. Do some research!!!
