ruptured disc and slipped disc symptoms?

my bro said he had 2 slipped disc and 1 ruptured disc i don’t not believe
would he b able to still work? he not on pain pills>?

People with that sort of injury are in a lot of pain - I have three herniated discs - that’s the proper term for them - and let me tell ya, that fuggin’ HURT. After a few years, it did let up, but I have never been able to go back to work. Surgery might have made a difference, but mine were such that the doc would’ve had to go in from both front and back, and we diabetics don’t heal well…
