33 yr old female Herniated back disc causing lots of pain. Finally got referrel to physical therapy after 4 months. Pain meds aren’t helping enough. Drs in this state are scared to up Anyones dosage.. Is it time to go to a pain management clinic or is that a scary place to be? Should I ask the dr for a referrel or call them myself?
L5 s1 I believe or vice versa l1-s5. Neurosurgeon said no to surgery at this time

For the last 4 months I have had ongoing shoulder and neck pain. The pain worsens when I sit for long periods of time. I have been to an MD and was just given meds. The meds didn’t help. I have been to the chiro numerous times but haven’t gone for the last month.
I am uncomfortable sleeping and have been forced to take sleeping pills just to be able to rest. I don’t know what else to do. Recently the pain has caused me to be come nauseous and has made me feel ill. Please help!

Ok so i have a lot of questions. Im a 15 year old Gymnast. And i haven’t done gymnastics in 8 months because i have a stress fracture in the L5 pedicle portion of my back. I worn a brace for 4 months that wasn’t strong enough for me, and it didn’t work. Now i have another brace, with a thigh cuff. Its plastic material with padding, and there is a middle bar going down with a thigh cuff on my right leg. I need the thigh cuff because i have pain down my right leg from the bone touching the nerve and bone touching. My doctor said i have to wear the brace for a total of 3 months, and if that doesn’t work, to get a spinal fusion.

I am talking to my doctor about it tomorrow, because i have a lot of questions. I don’t want to wear this brace, because i already did wear a brace,and i wasted my time. I haven’t done any physical activity in 8 months, and i think that waiting another 3-6 months is pointless. My doctor might allow me to just get surgery instead, because i went to physical therapy for 2 months already.

I was talking to my coach the other day and she is 100% AGAINST surgery. She said i can die from it, get paralyzed, everything.

Now my question is, what should i really know about this spinal fusion?

In October 2009, I was involved in a auto accident. Another car crashed into my car. I got injured below my knee,and had to stay home for around 4 months, before returning to work. I never really recovered and from Feb 2011 I was again in pain and had to go on FMLA leave for the last 3 months and Im currently on short term disability.

Now my question is related to filing the claim against my insurance company ( the person who hit me did not have insurance ). Im preparing all the papers required to file the claim once I recover this time. What I want to know is what are the precautions I need to take while filing the claim with my insurance company ?

I’d my lower back hurt about a year ago and it hasnt healed yet. When i just got injured, i went to see a doctor and he told me it will take 2 to 4 months to recover, its been a year now and the pain is still there. Because of the pain, i cant try my best in sports and i feel really bad about it. Any suggestions on how to heal it?

I had surgery on my knee about 4 months ago, and have been seeing a physical therapist, doing excersices and such. But it seems like this recovery is going really slow. What is the typical recovery time after a ruptured ACL surgery?

It was a car accident that occurred June 2009. I started going to therapy and was told by my lawyers that, it would not cost me anything just keep going. Turns out, the Doctor office filed my case 4 months late? My No Fault was denied and I was asked to just settle the case Right away. I did that, I was told I would receive 16,200.00 and I am now told I would get ,000. The Law Office tells me, I need to go and talk with the Doctors because the Doctors put a Lien of ,200 since the No Fault was denied. My Questions are: 1. Can the Lawyer without my Permission give the Money to the Doctor. 2. Can I get the money back, because I was told by the Lawyers and Doctors it will not cost me a penny and also because it was the Doctors office fault for filing my paperwork 4 months late?

4 months ago, I had a proximal humerus fracture on my left arm. I wore a sling for 2 months before being able to take it off. Now there is barely any muscle on it, when compared to my right arm because of the 2 months of inactivity.

What are some exercises that will help me regain muscles that I lost due to the humer fracture?

My friends young cat (4 months old) broke his leg from jumping up to a counter. She took the kitten to a vet that kept putting the kitten in only splints of which he was able to come out of rather quickly. Now, because of this, this poor kitten is in the hospital getting pins in his leg. My friend is crying her eyes out over this. The kitten is her baby. She lives in northern Illinois. What are her options? What are her rights? This was a total accident because the kitten wanted to go someplace where he shouldnt have been. I had blood drawn in Indio, Ca for a recent DUI arresst. My record is Clean and i believe my blood will show I was at 0.08 or below. Arresting officer said my blood results would take 2 to 3 wks for results. The Attorney I interviewed said it could take 3 to 4 months. My court date is in 2 months. How can i be convicted in court if i don’t even have test results?
Attorney said we would do a split with blood sample and retest it in a private lab. What is the best way for me to get blood results FAST. I’ve already made appointment with DMV for hearing.

I was driving on a highway going about 68-70 in a 65 mph zone. A full sized truck pulling a boat trailer (no boat, just trailer) behind it did a turn around in an emergency vehicle ONLY turn around on the interstate. I hit the back of the trailer at about 40 mph after slamming on brakes and attempting to pull to the other lane (but there was an 18 wheeler blocking my way). I was not cited for the accident. The other driver was cited for failure to yield in an emergency turn around.

I was brought to the emergency room via ambulance, and suffered a sprained ankle (that now 4 months later I had to have surgery on because it was misdiagnosed).

The at fault party’s insurance is saying that I failed to keep a proper lookout and are trying to say I’m equally at fault for this accident. I currently have a lawyer who is sending in my demands next week for my losses’ including pain and suffering, medical bills, loss of work, future pain, car damages, and everything else included in the settlement.

My question is, am I equally liable? I don’t feel that I am at fault here. As soon as I saw that he was pulling out from the turn around I attempted to slow down. We collided not even 1/15 a mile from where he turned around. He claimed he was up to 50 mph before I hit him, But with the damage I did to his vehicle he was only going about 25 mph.

Also with medical bills and missed work and all the amount I owe/ deserve before pain and suffering is around ,000. After surgery and missing work and not being able to walk around for 3 months we’re putting suffering at 4x the bills. Is this too much to ask for?

I didn’t actually hit the vehicle from the rear, I hit them on the side of the trailer when they were pulling out. But they didn’t stop until about 1/15 of a mile later. So they were still pulling out when I struck them. To clear up the rear ending issue. I meant earlier that we were cited 1/15th of a mile from the turn around’ not collided.
