Accident at the job.
Well it is my father. He’s been injured for about 6 years. He had about two surgerys, and he has been uneployed since then. His lawyer does tell him about how much he should be receiving. All they are waiting for is for the results of the doctors evaluation. Then go to trial.

I have four kids, under 6 years of age, and have been dealing with it for 2 1/2 years. It’s hard to function the way I would like.
I am 130 pounds overweight and would like to get that off but I am finding it very hard to exercise with the pain in my legs.

In August of 95 (12 yrs ago), after more than 4 yrs of being misdiagnosed, docs rushed me into surgery to remove my appendix when I was only 6 years old.Since I was an infant my parents had taken me to numerous doctors being I had chronic UTI’s and vomiting. They would claim it was gas or accuse my parents of abuse. Nobody ever did an ultrasound. When they finally went in to remove my appendix due to "appendicitis" they found a black, walnut size kidney and realized they had made a mistake. They stitched me up and told my parents to come back a few weeks later to have the dead kidney taken out. Along with the kidney they took out as much of the ureter tube as possible but left about 1/4 of it. Over the last few years I have been getting reoccuring infections and UTI’s yet again. Yesterday I went to a urologist because I had intense back pain and he determined that because they left part of my ureter tube it became a sac of infection that now requires further surgery. Can I still sue?

The car is a 2003 Toyota Camry. The loan is paid in full on it.
It costs an extra 0 a year to put collision insurance on it with a 0 deductible.
My Dad told me 30 years ago not to keep collision on a car after it is 5 years old. But times have changed.
If it were to be damaged severely, we would not readily have the funds to replace it and would be looking at clunkers (if there are any left out there)..
Since the car is more than 6 years old, it wouldn’t have a resale value in the Kelly Blue Book, so I have no idea what $$ we could expect from the insurance company to buy a new car if something happened to it.
Should I maintain the collision insurance on this car? Opinions please, and the reasoning behind your answer? Thanks!

Okay, so I went to a doctor today who pretty much wants to cut me of my medication. I also found out that he lets politics get in the way of his medical profession (He’s a die-hard republican) And I want to report him and get him into trouble. Need advice. Thanks.
@ Acidburn
He, along with other doctors are against helping the sick it seems. Get use to this. There will be a lot of people dying because of people like him. If I go into withdraws and nearly die because of his malpractice decision given that i have been on the same meds for 6 years now. Yeah, if I don’t sue him, my parents will. lol
@ comrade Hussien Satan
Yeah, you’re blocked.
@Kathi S
I’m not abusing squat. I take it as prescribed. He’s just a liberal hatin’ doctor that thinks people like me should not be worth the treatment. Just for that. I’m blocking you too.

I recently made a terrible mistake drank a few beers and drove and I got pulled over. I blew and got about a .12, obviously above the legal limit. I hired an attorney and he told me to plead not guilty. I haven’t really been able to get a hold of him and I don’t know exactly what he will do for me. I don’t know what the point is to plead not guilty if I am guilty. I really wonder if an attorney can do anything for me or if I will just have to pay for an attorney and suffer the consequences of my DUI (financially and otherwise). If anyone has any answers as for what an attorney’s role is in a case like this I would greatly appreciate it. It my first moving violation of any kind and I’ve been driving for about 6 years.

I know it depends on circumstances but do they normally last more than 6+ years? We are not looking to go to trial.

Initially, the surgery ( spinal fusion ) stopped the sciatic pain I was experiencing and it helped quite a bit for the last 6 years. In the last 6 months or so I have developed severe muscle spasms. I have undergone physical therapy treatment, and am now going to a pain clinic where I am receiving trigger point injections which only help temporarily. I cannot have nerve blocks because of the metal in my back. Any suggestions?

I hurt my back in high school, the chiropractor said I twisted a disc a little and I suffered sciatica and severe back spasms intermittently for almost a year. It went away and seemed to "heal" itself, but just the other day my back began to lock up again. I didn’t injur it that I can remember… I just did a lot of walking in vegas and driving in the last few weeks, and it locked up again just like in High school.. could this be a remnant of my old injury coming back?
It’s been 6 years since the first injury.

I am in agony beyond belief. I cannot sleep. Seems that after nearly five years, my attorney did little to develop my PI case. Did not talk to the four witnesses, did not depose the defendants (owners of the art gallery).
Then, just 6 weeks before trial, he abruptly quit. Case worth 5,000 to 0,000.
5 years ago, at an art gallery a multi-paneled art object — 4 ft by 4 ft — broke from the wall & fell on me. Suffered soft-tissue neck injury. 4 witnesses. 5 doctors.
From the start, my Attorney said, We will have to go to trial. He suddenly quit just weeks before trial. Days before trial, Case so old judge would not grant me trial continuance. I settled for less than ,000. No choice. I plan to go to State Bar, then legal malpractice attorney. I was homeless, on welfare, this after working 6 years as software engineer. Lost everything I worked so hard for. Did get 100% Social Security disability. Needed compensation, though, to get back on feet.
