Hello all, I have a few questions. About 7 months ago I was hit from behind. A fews days later my back started t6o hurt. After a few months of my back hurting I went to a spine doctor. I was told that I have a hernicate disc my Thoracic spine. In just I hade an injection into my spine. That tookthe pain away from about a mouth but the last few weeks the pain is just as bad as it was before the injections. I have been on pain Patches, nerver meds and nothing is killing the pain like Noecos or Hydorcodone. I do not want to keep taking the Norcos but at this point I do not know what else to do. I was told since the disc is my thoracic spine i am not able to rehab it.

I’m 29. I got hit by a hard fast soccer ball from close distance 7 months ago, I damaged C2 I believe, MRI scan showed bruising. I took steroids at start & wore neck-brace. The numbness/tingling has mostly gone from head/neck/right hand(prob reduced by 80% in first few months), but sometimes my fingers tingle, and neck aches/throbs. I get worried/scared as doctor said he cannot guarantee I will recover 100% and I’ll be feeling this discomfort/pain for the rest of my life.
Any advice/experience/web pages, I’d be very grateful. Thank you.
sorry, should have said the x-ray and MRI scan showed bones/muscles/ligaments were in usual condition, no problem at all. just the spinal cord is badly bruised.

The fracture also required immediate surgery in which a plate and six screws were in, and then another surgery 6-7 months after the date of injury to remove the plate and screws. I’m just wondering what chronic pain could stem from this process.

A physician whom I was a patient of, began sexually harrassing me for the duration of our doctor/patient relationship. I then started to bring my husband with me once I felt this harrassement was getting out of control. A few months later, I fired the physician from treating me. He is a specialist and it is difficult to find a good specialist in this particular field, which is why I put up with it as long as I did (about 7 months). What is the first step I need to take, and will I be taken seriously, since I waited 6 months after firing him, to file a lawsuit?

I fractured my 5th lumbar very badly and it has been healing for just over 7 months now(I’ve been braced for about 2-3 months in one of those giant white hard plastic braces. Now, I had slight scoliosis before. Will I heal and be even better than I was originally?I’ve heard of surgeries where bones are broken purposely and casted so bones grow back in proper placement.I’m just wondering if anybody knows
i will continue using the brace until this completely heals

I live in New Jersey and about five months ago I received a DWI. I was driving home, swerved to avoid a deer, and hit a tree, totaling my car. Turns out, I was also above the blood alcohol limit.
Here is my question. I lost my license for 7 months and my insurance company claims I still have to pay car insurance even though I no longer have a car to insure. My lawyer says that insurance insures cars, not people, but my agent insists that there is some law in NJ that says if you live with someone who owns a car and has insurance, you are likely to steal their car and drive, and so you must pay car insurance during the duration of your suspension for that inevitable theft. I’ve never heard of that before. I have no car to insure, and no license, I’m not going to drive. Why should I pay insurance on a car I don’t own? I was wondering if anyone else can help?
Thanks
Rob

I had my baby 7 months ago and I am still experiencing lower back pain. Sometimes it feels constant, and other times I get a sharp stabbing pain near my pelvis almost as if my back is giving out. Why would this be?

I got pulled over in New Jersey and was arrested for DWI/DUI last summer. I have permanent residence in Pennsylvania. I fought it in court and when I met with my lawyer, he said no matter what state to state transfers of this will show up as traffic offense rather than permanent record. In court I got basically a lot of things reduced and only got my license suspended for 7 months in New Jersey, not PA. I have to attend an IDRC meeting in NJ and paid off all my fines so far. Now I have to get a criminal background check in the summer as I am a nursing student and need to do so to start clinicals next semester. I am worried if this will show up or not on my record or not.
Does anyone have educational insight on this? Is the state to state transfer of DUI/DWI only transfer as a traffic offense as I was told? Is this only a New Jersey rule? I’m just really worried and would rather find out now before I go further into my career of nursing.
Please help.

I hurt my back at work downstalking stuff I told a manager I hurt my back pretty bad but he blew me off when I told him,the next day I called in and talk to a different manager about what happened she ask me why wasn’t there a report but fortunetly I had a witness that saw me report to the dBAG manager the first time anyways moving on so I’ve been on workers comp for the last 7 months and during that time I’ve had them harrassing me threating my job and while there getting mad at me….. Who they should really be mad at are the doctors or insurance company they are constintly dragging there feet……. like I said they I’ve been out for 7months but it was only up until a couple weeks ago that they just did my MRI and all the while my work has been thinking that I’m playing them the MRI says different it says I have a torn legiment in my lower back and the orthopedic doctor said to me verbatim that this is a "permenent life injury" and it’s something they can treat but it’ll always be like a patch on a tire just a temporary fix but it’ll still be permenent and she said that surgery isn’t possible now whether that’s truth or not this is still there doctor telling me this (the workers comp doctor) she told me a ideal job for me now is a desk job or a manager position

So, I’m 7 months EXACTLY today, and my back is killing me, right about the tailbone. I’m assuming it’s the sciatic nerve. I go to the doctor Wednesday and plan on asking him about it, but I wanted to see if any of you had any quick suggestions?

She’s only 7 but has had spinal arthritis for a couple of years. Her buddy (other dog) died last year and her dad (my best friend’s husband) died 7 months ago. This is my best friend’s baby. I just heard about this from her. vet will keep her overnight. Is there a possibility she may have to be put down. I can’t imagine…
Thanks for the response (human physician) and everyone else too. HER VET said that she will watch her today (dog is sedated) and if not at least a little better by tomorrow, she will refer her to a veterinary neurologist to discuss surgery. Good news is, owner (my best friend) has the money for any surgery she may need…thank goodness!
