I train regularly but on on friday I was weightlifting and it was the first time i did this particular lift(Deadlift). I was fine on friday, but on saturday, my lower back was really sore. Then sunday the soreness didnt improve. Now today, monday, its hurting a bit more, and its not longer just my lower back, its now lower and mid back. Its the muscles that are on either side of the spine.

It feels sore, but intensely sore. Im pretty sure its just muscular.
But as im not a doctor im not sure. It is very uncomfotable and my movement is very limited as it hurts.

What do you think is this?

I’m a basketball player, 13 5’7, 120 lbs., very active. I was at a camp 4 days ago and while doing layup’s my back (lower right only) randomly started hurting. It was durable, so I kept playing. I asked one of the high schoolers for a stretch I could do and he told me to lay on my stomach, feet together, pelvis on the ground, and do a push up like motion. Anyways, it hurt like crazy when I got home. The next morning, I took Ibuprofen, and continued to play. Therefore, it got much worse. The next day, it was hard to walk and pretty much do anything, so, I sat out at camp. Today, it still hurts and I’m in alot of pain. I’ve been putting pain relief cream on it, and heat it at different times. Again, lower, deep, right side only back pain (not on the spinal cord). Have you had this injury before? Personal experience? Please! Give me some streches to do, advice, anything. I need to get back on my feet ASAP. DON’T give me some website you have found unless you’ve used it for this EXACT purpose.

Ik i just answered a question on back stretches a few days ago but now i need some advice. I screwed up my back bad about 8 months ago and I’m in alot of pain at the moment. I herniated a disc in my lower back, did some siatic nerve damage, and now my discs are deteriorating at too young of an age. from the left side of my back down to the back of my knee is numb and idk what to do about it! help me?

I had surgery on L4/L5 and been having alot of leg pain and numb on the other leg. It has only been all most 4 weeks since the surgery. I have to take pain pills around the clock.Is this normal?

i am having alot of problems with my sciatic nerve and when i put pressure on my leg it will not work. ( I have fell a couple of times) Is there surgery for that kind of thing? What can a doctor do about it? Has there been anyone with the same problem?

my b/f just called me from work. he is having a really bad pain in the back of his neck (he says where the spinal cord is) he says its not a headache or neck ache, any ideas on what this could be? he is in alot of pain.

I was in a car accident were i was hit by a Drunk Driver.. I was taken by ambulance with minor head scratches but alot of neck and back pain cause i was rear ended, Now the other guy went to jail his insurance admits fault and is taking care of me. Its been about 2 months and now that im done with my doctors they say they want ALL my medical bills. So should i get a lawyer or should i wait and see how much the 1st offer is? Would i get more money with a lawyer? And my bills are about 11,000 dollars any idea of how much i might get? THANKS..

I recently started having horrible back pain along with my left leg going numb….i went to a chiropractor and found a bulging disc between my L4-L5 vertebra. After several treatment…and i mean several, my pain kept getting worse. My regular family doctor prescribes me Lortabs to help with the pain, but he’s wanting to refer me to a Neurosurgeon or a Pain Managment Clinic. If anyone has been faced with this decision, or even if you have an input please share you’re opinion with me…what would you do? If you face this problem how has it changed your life? For the record, the amount of pain I’m in alot of the time can’t be described… My work doesn’t help either with all the stuff i do (i work for fleetwood homes building houses)

Ok for the past week I have had severe pain in my lower back, I went to the doctor today and will be having a x-ray and mri tomorrow.
Here’s the thing He told me even If I had a herniated disc he would not prescribe me vicodin for the pain because I’m still young…I’m 30 years old and had already taken this med for months after my shoulder surgery.Don’t you think that’s alittle odd? He will prescribe me ultram, but that stuff is useless for severe pain..
shoulder surgery was work related, alot of heavy repetive lifting.Tendonosis, bone spurs, impingment etc,etc

About a month ago I was coming home and got into an accident hitting a light post. I was still able to drive my vehicle home and nobody was hurt. When I got home, my friends and I began to drink heavily. An hour or so passed and a cop showed up at my place because someone had called in the accident. The cop took me downtown and gave me a breathilizer. I blew .23, so obviously i was over the limit, but I wasnt driving, i was in my home. The cop arrested me for drunk driving and i went to jail. I was released without being charged, but i just found out today, almost a month later, that I have been charged. I am in the processes of finding a lawyer, but can they really charge me when I wast caught driving? I dont thinlk this case will hold up, what do u think? I honestly beleive that I was under the limit when i was infact driving, and how can they charge me with my BAC when I was obviouosly drinking alot at home? does anyone have an opinion?

The police were notified promptly, I was taken to the E.R and initially diagnosed with whiplash, after going to a chiropractor he told me I had a grade 3 cervical strain/sprain with some pretty bad damage to my right shoulder and upper spine. I was working when this happened, we go house to house cleaning and it happened while we were going to another site. I did file workers comp and got a lawyer right away. After almost a month after it happened I am still having alot of problems with pain, it is affecting my performance at work. How much money can I get from this accident with a lawyer and how long will it take to actually see any money from this?

my ex fil has had several instances where he’s been pulled over drunk.. Had work only driving privledges and even had to stay a weekend in what we called ‘Camp Burton’ basically jail-like setting where you learn about the hazards of drunk driving and how to get help to quit.. ect ect.
To the best of my knowledge he’s been caught 4 times driving drunk.. I know he had at least 1 dui on his record…
Now his entire driving record is clean.. No court record exists of him ever getting even a speeding ticket, let alone dui..
His son fathered my daughter.. and he’s been in alot of trouble this year and the same judge has been dismissing all his cases.. I’m just wondering how all their bad behavior is getting pardoned.
