i’m getting spinal surgery on july 23rd of this year. i’m 5’7 and barley 95lbs.

i was woundering, will I loose lots of weight? i’ve seen pictures where someone goes in for surgery and i while later they end up loosing almost 20 pounds!

is this true for most patiets who are getting scoliosis spinal correction?

since last summer, i have had pains in my lower back on the left side, that radiates down to my butt. sometimes it hurts soo bad i can barley walk. now i am 16 weeks pregnant and the pain is constant. is this sciatic nerve pain?

I take care of my husband and my 2 year old child. I am a stay at home mom. My husband will not do anything and complain that I do not do enough. We can not have sex anymore and sometimes that is fustrating but I dont have any energy to think about it anyway. My husband will actually go 1 month before he takes a shower because his leg spasms are so bad. The doctors keep giving him medicine that does not work but they wont change it. They say that it is working. My husband also had bad temper problems and I am at my last rope. I dont know whether to leave or to stay. I have tried to leave before but I have always come back. I am just tired and I can barley drag myself out of bed for our son. Help!!!
My husband was in a car accident almost 3 years ago. He is a T8-T9 Paraplegic. He has been to so many doctors and no one will work with him. He is heavily tattoed and they always give him drug test like he is abusing drugs. They still wont give him anything even for the pain. He has two metal rods in his back and they are actually really close to the skin which has caused scars and more pain. I wish that the docs would listen but they dont…

I have pain in the right side of my abdomon. It is sharp and my lower back also hurts. I have a back injury and I’ve had surgery done on my back so I’ve passed it off as just my regular back pain but I can barley walk. When I walk it feels like something is moving around in my abdomon and it hurts. I dont have a fever, or vomiting but so you think it could be my appendex? I dont want to go whining into the ER like a big baby but I dont know what else to do. Serious answers only please, thanks guys!

I hurt my lower back this morning lifting my toddler. I cant stand or walk and can barley sit. I went to the chiropractor and he said my joint of my pelvic bone and my spine was out of place. The disc slipped I guess is another way to say it. Well he did some therapy and then popped it back in.
Still extremely painful as he said it would be. But I keep getting dizzy and faint and feel like I want to throw up. And with in an hour coming home I have a bladder infection. Strangely when I was at the Chriopractor he asked if I had a history of bladder infections or kidney infections, (which I do have a history of bladder infections.) Why do I have a bladder infection from this injury and why do I keep getting dizzy like I’m going to pass out? It’s Saturday… and all the Clinics are closed because it’s after noon. I’m worried by Monday it might get worse. Any Dr’s or RN’s have any idea what is happening to me?

had my 1st tx wednesday and was tolded i’b be soar on thursday, didnt have worse pain, took out trash thursday night and could barley walk the rest of the night-too much pain in leg and hip. today is 2nd time for decompression, any idea if i can improve?

5 days ago a sharp sting (like needles) was in my leftshoulder,and i have been taking Ibprofen and i just switched to Asprin. My whole left arm is numb from my shoulder to my fingers. i can barley stand it. Does it even sound like I even have a pinched nerve in my neck? And would I look stupid if i went to the hospital to get it looked at? Cause i have no insurance. Please give me some advice.Thank you

My dad pinched a nerve in his back and can barley get out of bed. I am currently on bed rest so I cant go over there to help him out, but I wanted to know if there is anything he can do to help his back?

I am 15 years old with degenerative disc disorder/extreme back pain. I can barley do day to day activities. i have tried anti-inflamitory drugs both OTC and prescription, with no help at all. Do you think i could be prescribed painkillers? I am not trying to just get messed up on them or anything i can barely walk anymore.
