Auto Insurance, Please Help!?

What are good coverage amounts for Bodily Injury, Property Damage, Medical Payments, Uninsured Motorist and Under-insured Motorist for auto insurance? I just want to make sure i have enough coverage for my insurance.

Auto Insurance – Uninsured/Underinsured?

I have auto insurance coverage. I understand the various coverages included in the current policy. 1)Liability a)Bodily Injury b)Property Damage 2)Personal Injury Protection (madatory in MN) 3)Comprehensive 4)Collision 5)Uninusred
6)Under Insured.

Question is can I cancel Uninsured and Under insured coverages? What are the pros and cons ? Ours is a no-fault state

Even If I do not have uninsured/under insured, am I supposed to be covered under my own liability ceverage ?

I was involved in an auto accident, after almost 5 yrs I was just served with a lawsuit for 100,000. I was 18 at the time of the accident and had full coverage but only 10,000 in bodily injury, loss of wages, etc. I have looked for Attorneys practicing in auto accidents, however, it seems they all want to represent the person suing. What type of attorney do I need to find?

I was in an auto accident about 5 months ago and I was at fault. I have state farm and they have already settled the property damage, but the bodily injury claim for the person I hit still remains. How long does this process usually take to end?
The person did not get an attorney or anything, my insurance is taking care of it, so is it normal for bodily injury claims to take this long with out attornies getting involved?

I was charged with DUI with serious bodily injury. My passenger was injured. He is going to be alright, thank god. I have no record, just a couple speeding tickets. I have an attorney, but I am looking for other opinions on the best way to fight this or possibly get me a better outcome. I live in Florida. Thanks for the input!
Blood test only, which I refused.

I guess I need to specify that I need "answers" not opinions. Is there a yahoo opinions site?

bodily injury and property damage, or am I limited to just one claim?

Bodily Injury Question about Insurance!?

If I have a bodily injury coverage on my auto insurance, (100/300) and I am involved in an accident that both drivers (me and the other driver) are found guilty or at fault. Does my insurance cover my medical bills or not?

I am a bodily injury claims adjuster for an auto insurance company with 4 1/2 years experience. I’ve grown tired of the nonsense within our company. I am presently searching for jobs with other companies in all branches of claim handling. However, I’m also thinking about switching fields all together. What other career fields would my experience qualify me for if I decided to change fields? Also, does anyone recommend a good insurance field to enter?

I was looking over my auto policy and it appears my auto insurer has been charging me for an accident WITH bodily injury for over a year now. However, my accident was single car accident with NO injuries.
My dilemma is that they are not charging me for a ticket i got after the policy renewed for another year and I don’t know which is worse.

Also, can they credit me for the year they were over charging me?

I was recently told (by an insurance agent of course) that having low amounts of auto coverage – bodily injury, for instance – can negatively affect my credit score.

I’ve researched it and it seems to me to be utter nonsense.

Any thoughts from someone in the credit business?

My fiance totaled my car a few weeks ago. He has a non-owners policy on his license, but they said I had to see what my insurance company may do first. They said that because he got injured in the accident in my car (broken arm & ankle), that the bodily injury part of my insurance would cover that. My limit per accident is ,000. There was no other car involved, it was a tree he slid into after a snow storm. I’m having a hard time getting a straight answer from my insurance provider. All they’ve told me is to have him fax his medical bills over & gave me a fax number. How does that work? Will they issue a check for the ,000 to him? Are they just wanting the bills as proof he was injured? Or will they want to only pay the amount of the bills? And will they want to submit payment to the hospital & doctor’s offices? The thing is, he already has good health insurance, that pays for all of his doctor’s visits, etc. But I’ve heard that there’s still the "pain & suffering". We’re wondering if they’ll be sending him a check or how that works. They never asked if he had any health insurance. I’m wondering if they were to find out, would they decide to not pay? They already said it would be covered (this is after the "investigation"). It’s been me leaving them voicemails & them leaving me voicemails, so I’m having a hard time getting a straight answer. I’m hoping someone can tell me how this will work. Thank you, ahead of time!

So I’m trying to get a quote from them and there’s this section that ask you how much bodily injury coverage you had with your previous insurer. Depending on your answer, the quoted price can be lowered…

I’m trying to get a quote for 50/100 and the quote is lower if I say my previous auto insurance bodily injury was 50/100..it’s really 20/40. Do you think they will find out if i put 50/100?

In an auto accident bodily injury claim what is the difference between a claims adjuster and a claims specialist and why would a case be bumped up to the specialist?

Let’s say your insurance could pay up to ,000 for bodily injury, what if the amount of the damage is higher than that? I know that you will probably have to pay for the rest, but is there a way that you can probably pay monthly payments or something on it instead of the full amount? Help please!
