…. cord orders a muscle or a gland to react . These unconsious actions are called reflex actions.
HOW can the spinal cord do that without an order from the brain? I thought the brain tells your body what to do?

For example, when it is damaged, it can be replaced, or when the brain has to connect with a cyborg body….

What happens if a chiropractor does nerve damage? What in the body will it change? Will I feel/act different? Will it change the way the brain will work? Is it a possibility of mental retardation/illness?
How would I know if I got nerve damage?
How often does nerve damage happen due to chiropractic treatments? Should I worry about this?

I had one, but wasn’t told how much was taken out. I’m having head trembles and jerks. I’m worried that there’s not going to be any fluid protecting my brain when this happens. This is worrying me sick that I am damaging my brain. I don’t have a headache, so is that a good sign? I don’t know… Wish somone could answer.

i know that the white matter is made of the axons of neurons which are covered in myelin to insulate them. i know that the dendrites and bodies of neurons make up the grey matter. what i don’t know is why they are inverted in the brain. they white matter conducts messages and the cerebral cortex… does something else? drawing a blank here. test tomorrow.

I am doing research for a paper and was wondering what would be the effect of a ruptured artery? I know that a rupture in the brain would be very serious, but I was more wondering what would happen if other arteries were to rupture. For instance the one on the inside part of the elbow, the wrist (the one where people measure their heart rate) or the one on the neck.
Any help is appreciated.

If a person suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm, can this trigger a change in their behavior? There was no violent behavior before the bleeding. After the healing process was basically over, the person became very violent and aggressive and abusive, can this be a side effect of the ruptured aneurysm?

I have head trembling and jerks. I had this before the procedure, but I just need to know if it’s safe to have it after wards. I read that they don’t take out a significant amount of fluid to cause any movement of the brain, but I’m just worried that my head jerking is causing my brain to "bounce around". Is there any CSF fluid still around my brain to protect it?

Hi,
Was wondering what significance there is – if any – of the sensory neurons that relate to pain crossing over (decussation, I think) at the spinal level? As opposed to crossing over further up at the level of the brain?
Cheers!

Well, for Science, we finally get to dissect a frog.
For extra credit points, we have to figure out how to dissect its brain and spinal cord, in one piece.
I looked all over Google and couldn’t find out how, so if anyone wants to help me, it would be much appreciated.
