My brother had an accident on the Judo mat while he was on his regular practice on the 19th of this month. X-ray reports show that c5 and c6 have moved away from one another. He is parallized from neck to toe, however senses are there upto his belly. He has been fixed him with bed with 12 Kg contraction and is still not out of danger.
I am repeating this question with a hope that it will fall infront of someone who would be able to help.

My 28 year old brother had a fourwheeler accident 3 months ago and now has a spinal cord injury. C-6 C-7. Does anyone know if he has a good chance of ever walking again?

Today is the 3yr anniversary of my brother’s SCI and his 21st birthday. He passed away of complications relating to the injury on Jan. 24th of this year. I really want to get involved by becoming an advocate for SCI research and speeding up the research process. Everyone says we’re so close but it wasn’t close enough my brother. What can I do to get involved? I need to be Paul’s voice.

My brother has a bulging disc for 1 year and a half does anybody know how he can get it fixed with out surgery he is always with pain on his lower back the doctor told him it was a bulging disc and that he needed surgery there must be another way can someone please help i dont want to see him suffer anymore PLEASE HELP!!!!! where can we go? or what can we do? i will really appreciate it if someone would help us

Hi Im from Nepal. My brother is young aged 25. He lost his sense below chest in an accident on the way to Delhi. He had a spinal injury and can’t walk or move his both legs, he uses wheelchair to move around. We are from week economical background eventhough we tried our best to give him the better treatement but till now no imporvement has been seem We took him to Delhi and Banglore too but the result the the same. Before 2 months we also tried herbal treatment but nothing progressed. We can’t offord to give him international level treatement . So we are now planning to take help from rehabilition center and WHO, would it be the better decision? What WHO and other organizations can do to help such disable person .He have long life to survive but can’t walk on his on his own . He has a son who only 3 years ,he can do nothing for his son’s future and education .So please i need your suggestions and support to find some way to give him relieve so i have choosen this way. please help me

My fiance’s brother plays soccer in college. He can’t move his his pinky toe and the toe next to it and the doctor thinks it may be a bulging disc. He as to have test done this week. Is it very serious and can it be fixed?

Hello guys, am in need of serious help for severe Back and neck pain of my brother !
I need to find if there are any hospitals or cure centre which cures and remove this kind of pain completely !
He has attended few of them but no results !
So was looking for some of the best institutes/hospitals preferably in India (but can be abroad also).
It’ll be great if the cure does not involve scissors and knife !

My younger brother got a DWI and served his one year suspension. He now has a ignition interlock device installed on his car. Is he permitted to drive all vehicles or just the car that its installed on. Reason I ask is we own a company and I have my concerns about him being pulled over in a company vehicle. My brother is a Alcoholic, he has been sober for ten years. He was as bad as it gets. He had 5 DWI’s. 10 sober years later, he found a good job that he can walk to work, he volunteers on weekends and helps countless people. As you can imagine, with the 5 DWI’s there were many fines and penalties. He turned himself into the police , and payed all his fines. (just because it was the right thing to do) Now the judge not only took his license away for 20 years ( which is what we all expected) but sentenced him to 6 months in jail. Were he will obviously lose his job, and have to start from scratch. Lawyers aren’t much help because it is all mandatory. Anyone have any similar situations.

My brother (23), fell down a flight of stairs- because they were broken- last christmas.He hasn’t been able to move off his bed since. He’s suing the landlord, and the lawyer is asking for a list of his personal losses.. emotional, physical, monetary, ect. We’re come up with most of the obvious stuff(unable to work, travel, hang out, go to school, ect), but we know the list isn’t complete.. does anyone have any suggestions?

I am 23 years old, and am concerned that if something happens to my mom custody of my six-year old brother would go to her abusive/alcoholic ex-husband. Can she write a valid will at home to give me custody just in case? Her ex-husb. has a long criminal record incl. repeat DUI, DWI, Drunk in Public, and Possession charges, so maybe I don’t need to even worry, because a court would see that he is unfit. I work full-time, have my own car, and make enough to support my brother & I, so I like to think I could get custody. Still, I want to know how I can get a will for her done, we don’t have the money for a lawyer….Thanks!

I have a friend whose brother doesn’t want to go to court because he is afraid he will get stuck in jail if he doesn’t have the money for the court fees. I’m trying to tell them it’s going to be worse if he doesn’t go. He was pulled over for a DWI and hasn’t seen a lawyer so I guess he’s going to represent himself. Does anyone know what would be the cost of court fees for a DWI in NC?
