I recently went to the E.R. for severe neck pain. They took several x-rays while I was there, in those they found that I have an extra vertebrae, and one vert, that could have split into two. What its doing is pushing the vert. in my neck out to the right, thus the pain. I really haven’t found much out and haven’t seen my regular dr. cz he moved outta state.If any one who reads this has similar information please give me all the details. My mom and brother both have the same pain, the same bulge in our necks which makes me think that it is genentic.

My brother’s pee is dark brown/red and other sites suggested it might be dehydration. But he’s not suffering any other symptoms so it’s seems odd. He got kneed in the side right above his hip, below his rib. It’s been happening for two days. What’s going on?

I’ll try to make it short. I got into a really bad accident about two months ago — I was driving through a green light, car comes from the opposite facing lane and makes a left turn right in front of me and didn’t yield, we crashed, my airbags came out, injured my left hand and I went to the hospital.
I’m 20, I have a car, have car insurance, a license, go to school, and almost done with a major.

Turns out..he has NO license, didn’t own the car, underage, no insurance, and STOLE the car from a family family. The kid got arrested, and a ticket.The car he was in had insurance but they said since the car was not driven by the insurance holder/person, they are not liable and are not paying for anything at all. basically..screwing me over.
Is this right???? I spent 18 days in therapy for my hand getting burned, my car was totaled, my family has been under so much stress lately, MY insurance had to cover everything and now it looks so bad on my family’s insurance. I never wanted this to go that far, or screw the other person over, but come on… this is just wrong…

My brother got me a lawyer and they are planning to sue the other person’s insurance.
I’m so afraid . what’s going to happen? will I go in court? is it a bad idea that my lawyer wants to sue them? it wasn’t my choice. I just want this to be over..but I’m afraid.

When I was seventeen, I broke a toe playing ping pong. My brother hit a ball that went towards the wall in our basement and I smashed my toe against a metal pipe. The toe next to my big toe was bent ninety degrees towards the outside part of my foot. I dislocated it three more times before my mom would take me to the doctor.

I don’t know if any of you can beat that, but I know you’ve got some good stories!

I have a brother who suffered a traumatic brain injury 4 mos ago. He is on a vent, is partially conscience & opens his eyes, however more recently his hands & feet are curling in and his head is starting to tilt downward. He is very stiff, muscle relaxers are not helping. I want to know what the "curling" condition is called.

My brother in-law broke his leg in two places during a motorcycle touring (some drunk redneck rammed my bro’s Harley with his truck). The surgeon installed some scaryass orthopedic thingy that look like the lovechild of SAW torture instrument and bird cage.

How long does it usually take to heal bone fracture with the external fixator? Will he gain full function of his limb after they remove the fixator?

My brother was recently arrested for obstructing a police officer. He gave a false name when he was being questioned while the driver of the car was having a DUI test. After giving the wrong name the police officer arrested him but let the driver go home since he was under the legal limit. Currently looking for a great criminal attorney in Springfield. Any Advice?

My brother’s girlfriend just turned nineteen and had to be taken to the hospital for a ruptured cyst. When taken to the doctor the day after, they said they had to perform more tests which would cost 900 dollars. They wanted the money up front. She has no health insurance and doesn’t qualify for medicaid. What can she do? We live in Georgia.

I had some elective surgery in 2000 and it was not done right. The actual final results weren’t visible for a few years. Also my anesthesiologist left my surgery to go eat breakfast in the hospital. My brother actually spoke to him and he looked very embarrassed that he was "caught". He said the nurse anesthesiologist had taken over for him. Is this legal? How do you influence a judge or district attorney on a criminal case? My brother is a repeat DWI offender, yet has never been in a rehabilitative setting before. My goal is to recieve the most productive alternative (rehabilitation)to prison time for him. Any ideas? In such a place like court, its hard to know what can happen from one mintue to the next. How do i influence such hardend prosecuters and judges?

I am taking care of a three month old kitten who managed to get a cut on his eyeball, have it get infected, and basically pop. His mom was a new mom and didn’t clean it.

I have called around asking for the most it would cost to remove a ruptured eyeball but no vets are giving an answer. We need to know cause my boyfriend is adopting the cat and paying for the surgery. On the other hand, he is in another country. We obviously cannot fly him cause of his eye. It is just a ruptured eyeball….doesn’t bother him or hurt.

and no I don’t think its bothering him….he doesn’t scratch at it, he plays with his brother, and even rubs his face on your hand….like a normal cat. In fact I don’t think he notices it at all…..

and maybe if people understood getting cats spayed then maybe this wouldn’t happen. Just want an estimate….so the money can be sent and we could get him in to the operating room the day we see the vet.
and yes…mom cat….not previous owner…but his actual mother.
