I have pain in the left side of my butt constantly how can i figure out myself what its from?

i read that thrombose hemmerhroids are painful but i dont know if i have this or sciatica. it feels like i have pain shooting from my butt into leg.

I am 12 weeks pregnant and for the past few weeks I have had left hip pain. It started out minor and now is excruciating. It is on the left side of my hip and sort of goes to the butt. I think it is a nerve. Any way to relieve this horrible pain?

I am 30 weeks and have had some back pain lately. I have also had some pains in my butt muscles that sometimes tend to run down the back of my leg. Is this Sciatica? My doctor said she thinks my daughter is resting on my Sciatic nerve.

This is my 3rd baby. My first baby was also lying on my sciatic nerve & it started about the same time as this pregnancy. I am 22 weeks today and it hurts so bad. Every time I move or get up to walk the pain shoots straight down my right leg. It especially is hurting in my butt area. It’s been a while since I had my first baby & I can’t remember the best thing to do for this. Any suggestions??

4 weeks ago i was stuck in bed because of a herniated disc. Now, this sciatica pain is horrible. It started in my butt and now it has moved to my calf. Is this something that anyone has experienced before? And how long should this last. BTW i no longer feel any discomfort in my back, very minimal. Help please

I have this pain in my upper right leg right near my butt and it has gotten worse over the last 4 days and i was talking to some of my co workers and they said it could be a sciatic nerve problem? What are some of the symptoms and could this be what i have, it hurts to sit or stand and to walk and the pain is getting worse?

My mom has sciatic nerve in her butt area and it shoots down her leg. It’s almost where her toes are numb (sometimes). She can’t sleep at night because of stabbing pains, eta… My moms question is, if a person has a short leg, can that cause sciatic nerve problems? What should she do?

i’ve had pain in my lower butt like down into my hamstring and i have scoliosis. could this be my sciatic nerve? is it hurting because of the scoliosis? could the nerve be pinched because of the scoliosis? is this bad? what do they do for this?

Whenever I am walking and I take a step with my right leg, a muscle in my right buttcheek has a pain that soars through it. I haven’t done anything strenuous with my leg or butt muscles so I don’t know what it is. It just showed up around dinner time today.

I have a very very intense sharp pain in my butt that runs a little bit up my back and down my leg.
It hurts when I step the wrong way, bend over, or bend to the side.
I called my mother, she said it’s most likely my sciatic nerve. She has problems with hers because her back twists at the bottom…

Any other ideas of what it could be? It’s very painful..

How long should I wait until I see a doctor about my back pain?
The pain started about three days ago and its only gotten worse. It has got to the point that I cant bend over or sit up straight anymore. I’m also having pains in my butt and leg areas.

Last week, the tips of my fingers on my right hand were partially asleep. Now it’s changed. If I look down at the ground, the right half of my back, butt and leg instantly get the pins and needles feeling like they are falling asleep. The second I look straight, everything feels fine.
