My OBGYN gave me a prescription for Tylenol with Codine and it didn’t help at all, it just made me sleepy. I have been going to the Chiropractor and it feels good to lay on the roller table and get a massage, but as soon as I walk out the door I am having the same problem. I can not put any pressure on my right leg, it just gives out and I have fallen a few times because of it. The pain is in the back of my hip (right above my butt). What else can I do about this? Will I still have this problem after the baby comes? any advice is welcome! thanks!

I injured my lower back lifting weights about two weeks ago. After two weeks it feels much better. There is a slight pain when bending at the hips or driving for too long but nothing serious, just a discomfort. I just find it odd that it hurts a little when I sneeze or when I tense up my abs. I thought it was just a muscle strain, since I can still walk normally and do other activities normally. So i decided to skip the doctor and just rest and take ibuprofen. I have no numbness or pain running down my butt or leg. But I have heard that pain when sneezing is a automatic diagnosis of a spine injury. Is this true?

Ok, so during my last wrestling tournament my oppenent who was 20 pounds heavier than me (it was an exhibition match) sprawls on me. I fell on my butt and my back scrunched downward (my back bent a bit to the front, and mostly straight down) it hurt really bad, but I didn’t break anything. It has been four days and my lower back still hurts whenever I run, does anyone have any tips or stretches to help my lower back heal faster, or at least heal more effective?

Anyone else have this problem? I have been having a horrible ache down my butt and into my upper thigh. I’ve had pain like this before during my period at first and then off and on all throughout the month due to my endometriosis. Now it seems like once I hit 9 weeks, its literally become a big pain in the a$$!

I fell down a few months ago, when I fell down I landed directly on my butt. That first week, my lower back hurt. A week later, I felt pain more towards the top of my left buttocks near the pelvis. It seems like pressure has build up and now I’m walking with a limp. When I walk, my right leg is fine but my left leg at the knee seems stiff(or lock)and it seems like I’m dragging my leg. I’ve had my back popped, but that only makes the pain go away temporarily.

Last night I fell and landed right on my lower back. Right near my "butt bone". It hurt badly at the time but I was able to get up and move around right away so I wasnt worried. However about an hour later I started having some pain. Now I have a lot of back problems anyway so part of it might just be my regular back problems. I had a hard time getting comfortable last night because of the back pain but again that isnt all that unusual so I thought about it but not much. Now today we visited my mom and before I even told her she told me she could tell my back was bothering me even though I didnt think it really was. When I first sat or stood it hurt a lot more then normal. And walking up stairs it gave me a lot of pain which usually I have no problems going up stairs. Every once in awhile through the day I got shooting pains. But I am really not in that much pain. Can I wait it out a couple days and see I think I just bruised myself up. Or is it worse then I think and I should go in…

My dachshund about 10 months is walking with a limp. His front legs are fine but his hind legs and butt wobble from side to side when he walks. He won’t run as fast as he possibly can and he had little interest in his toy. He drank ALOT of water and had, (really this isn’t a joke and im not trying to be disgusting), the squirts or diarrhea. But when i got home he jumped all the way of to my chest as he will usually do. But when i pick him up, he doesn’t yelp but he makes a grunt noise. He looks kinda sad but that could be because i wasn’t home last night. Is he okay? Is he showing signs of spinal injury or any other disease or injury? Can you please leave a link to a web page that list symptoms of spinal injury?

So I don’t know how but I did some thing to my lower back/glutes when I was running 4 weeks ago, and I havent been able to run since.
Here is what happened: Left glutes were tight(from my previous hill workout no doubt). After about mile 4 glutes got more and more tight. At mile 7 it was very painful and I was starting to limp. Stopped and stretched for a minute, then finished my run in a lot of pain. I may have possibly pulled it, but I didn’t feel it pull.
I have gone to the chiropractor and he has worked on it and given me stretches to do at home. It has gotten better, but I cannot run without pain, and sometimes it just hurts to walk.
Any idea what’s going on? Again, it’s in my lower back/glutes(but since the glutes are in the lower back and the butt I guess that would cover it)

I’ve been with a terrible and incisive low back pain in the area of the sciatic nerve. It runs all the way down to the left hamstring and to my calf producing at some moments during the day numbness. My walking is so slow due to the continued and severe pain in my butt (just left side). Is there something could help me to deal with the pain beside over the counter drugs? Exercises?
