It says in my document from doctors: There is slight depression of the anterior aspect of the vertebral body noted at T12 level and may suggest slight compression fracture. This should be correlated if there is any history of clinical symptoms over this site. The rest of the vertebra show normal heights. Vertebral alignments seem to be maintained. Evaluation of lumbosacral spine also shows normal vertebral heights and alignments. The disc spaces are maintained throughout the thoracic and lumbosacral spine.

I took the boot off and it feels like it did when I ruptured it. Very weak can’t really hold up my ankle. I do feel it pull inside my leg when I lift up my foot a little. I didn’t pass the Thompson test at the doctors but the Doc. said that is normal. I just want to be back to normal. How did you feel after they took the hard cast on and then the boot? how long does it take to walk without the crutches?

I had a pretty extensive, nine hour spinal surgery to remove a tumor 2 1/2 months ago. The tumor was actually growing inside one of my vertebra which caused it to collapse. The doctors had to fuse my spine together at t6-t8, but then made a mistake in the screw sizes and had to fix their mistake a few days later, which was about 5 hours of surgery. I am still taking 4-6 or Lortab a day…and I was wondering how much other people needed this long after their surgeries? I am a 22/f.

In August of 95 (12 yrs ago), after more than 4 yrs of being misdiagnosed, docs rushed me into surgery to remove my appendix when I was only 6 years old.Since I was an infant my parents had taken me to numerous doctors being I had chronic UTI’s and vomiting. They would claim it was gas or accuse my parents of abuse. Nobody ever did an ultrasound. When they finally went in to remove my appendix due to "appendicitis" they found a black, walnut size kidney and realized they had made a mistake. They stitched me up and told my parents to come back a few weeks later to have the dead kidney taken out. Along with the kidney they took out as much of the ureter tube as possible but left about 1/4 of it. Over the last few years I have been getting reoccuring infections and UTI’s yet again. Yesterday I went to a urologist because I had intense back pain and he determined that because they left part of my ureter tube it became a sac of infection that now requires further surgery. Can I still sue?

so my mom had a disc surgery on her spinal cord last summer and she has been taking a lot of pain medications since she also has fibromialgia..
she has had problems going to bathroom because of her medications and she had talked to her doctors about it and i don’t really know what’s going on with her right now..
but since last night she hasn’t been feeling good cause she hasn’t gone to the bathroom for days. she literally can’t get up,she has been just laying down on the bed all day.
is this just one of those bad days or do you think that she needs to go to the ER or something???

With all the technology these days how can a person do it and get away with it? I have a suspicion that he is faking but the doctors don’t seem to be catching on.

Several years ago when I was in high school I got hit with a thrown baseball below the eye. I went to the doctor the next morning but they never took xrays, and said it was a contusion. However, ever since there’s an on and off slight tightness below the eye after I touch it.
I went back to a couple of doctors the past couple of years, but they refused to take xrays.
Do you think it could be an untreated fracture?

I hurt my back in gymnastics pretty badly and it still hurts from time to time, I’ve been to doctors and chiropractors etc. and they want me to stay away from gymnastics. However I know if I don’t do a sport when school starts up, I won’t get a great amount of exercise. Any ideas for sports I could play, looking for something that doesn’t cost thousands! (I’ve already ruled out soccer and field hockey)
Thanks <3

I’m 12 years old and was involved in a skiing accident. The doctors did an x-ray. They said i had a spiral fracture on my tibia and fibia bone and put a cast on my leg. I’ve been told to stay in bed for two weeks and keep a regular check up going back and forth to the orthopedic doctor. So my question is how long should it take for me to be able to start walking regularly again?

I got a stress fracture last soring during track, and it stunk. It took a while to heal to. We went to the doctors just to have it checked out and he said I have pronated feet. Which means my feet/ankles go in toward eachother. I got runing shoes for people who have pronated feet.
Do you think the shoes woul prevent another stress fracture?
