dwi constitutional rights?

short version: was drunk walking down the side walk cops picked me up said somebody called and said I was driving. My car was some what in close proximity to me as I was parked near the bar I had just left. They brought me to station sat me in the lobby had the two drunk guys from the bar (witnesses) come in look at me sitting there to identify me. They (the drunk guys) then signed a statement saying they saw me drive around the corner then park my car where it was sitting ect,,
My question is: according to the united states vs wade the suspect has a right to have a lawyer present in the identification process. Also there was no police line up they just pointed at me and said is this the person you saw driving? my constitutional rights were violated ….Is this grounds for dismissal of the dwi case ect…. what can I do to exercise my rights?

Whats the time limit to legally bill someone?

My boyfriend hired a lawyer for a DWI case about a year ago and he still hasnt billed us for his services, or contacted us since. Is there a time limit in which he has to do this? I remember learning something about this in a business law class a few years ago, but do not remember the time limit. Not sure if it matters but we live in Minnesota. Any help would be great. Any websites where I could find this information would also be helpful.
