A few days ago, I went to the ER with the worst headache of my life. The doctor gave me 10 mg of Haldol im. I went home and at first didn’t even notice the shaking that I was doing. The next day I was severely restless, shaking, blurry vision, and I had severe muscle stiffness on my left torso. I went to a MEC center and the doctor was stunned that they gave me Haldol for a headache. The next day, my regular doctor told me that Haldol is used to treat Schizophrenia and he told me that I could have been seriously injured by the drug.
I feel so mad by this. What was that doctor thinking?!? Do you think that I have a claim here? Let me know.

Could i have broken my hymen if when i was about 12, before i started my period, i hit myself in the crotch while i was getting down of my bike when it was still moving slightly? This really hurt when it happened, and for a a few days after as well. When i got home, and went to the bathroom, i did have a very small amount of blood. Did i break my hymen? How can i tell for sure?

I woke up with a pulled muscle in my upper right back area. It got worse after a few days and spread to my neck. I started having muscle spasms and had to go the doctor. Some medication has been helpful but it has now been three weeks and it is still really bothering me. I would feel better if I knew it would get better soon. My doctor said 4-6 weeks and I thought she was exaggerating. I have been putting heat on it and taking Advil.

I think my eardrum ruptured a few days ago. The clinic doctor said it "looks ready to rupture, if it hasn’t already." i’m trying to let it heal on its own while on antibiotics. It feels so clogged up but its not draining. How do i safely make it drain after a rupture?

I took a few days off after a rear end collision and after 3 days my work wants a "treating medical professional" to fill out some forms for a medical leave of absence. My family physician says I can go back after one week. My Chiropractor says I should not perform physical work for 3 weeks or until my pinched nerve/muscle spasms start to go away.
Can a Chiropractor make these decisions and fill out a medical leave form??
I’m not lazy…..I just dont want to aggravate an ongoing back issue!

My father who had been operated a few times for brain tumours developed a CSF fistula on his forehead and it couldn’t heal because the cerebrospinal fluid was always pouring out throught that small opening preventing healing. Surgeons have tried with CSF drains but it didn’t work so they have performed lumbar punctures for a few consecutive days to ease the pressure which allowed the fistula to heal.
A few days ago the fistula reopened and he is getting lumbar punctures daily again, the skin on his forehead seems to heal very well, but he is very very sleepy. Is this normal after this type of lumbar punctures?
Thanks

The fomer First Lady from Taiwan claimed to have a fracture on her knee a few days ago. The intriguing thing is that she’s been confined to her wheel chair for many decades now, and she never needs to worry about moving around since there are always professional people to carry her on and off her wheel chair. So, this led me to wonder if someone like her can have a fracture or break a bone? If yes, how does that happen? I’m very curious, and your help will be greatly appreciated.

I had a pretty extensive, nine hour spinal surgery to remove a tumor 2 1/2 months ago. The tumor was actually growing inside one of my vertebra which caused it to collapse. The doctors had to fuse my spine together at t6-t8, but then made a mistake in the screw sizes and had to fix their mistake a few days later, which was about 5 hours of surgery. I am still taking 4-6 or Lortab a day…and I was wondering how much other people needed this long after their surgeries? I am a 22/f.

I had a spinal tap done last week to rule out meningitis but it was negative. I had severe headaches for the next few days but then they went away completely. I am having back pain when I bend down to touch my toes and stuff like that. My back feels fine straight up but bending down really far it hurts. Is there any way I can relieve this pain? Also, I have a baseball practice tonight, and is it alright for me to participate fully? Thanks
