I dislocated my shoulder a couple of weeks ago, and my arm’s been in an immobilizer since then. Because my arm has been at my side basically 24-7, my forearm’s numb. My mom, who’s a nurse, thinks I might have pinched a nerve. What can I do about this?

The front chest muscle often goes in to spasms. The pain is getting worse and unbearable. The pain has traveled from back of muscle just above elbow down to top of forearmrm midway. There is something that feels like a wire(tendon ?) from elbow to wrist that is tight on the underside of the forearm. There is also a muscle in the back that is really notted up and runs from the spine about mid back up and under the shoulder blade.

I want to get "robur et veneratio" tattooed on me and i like the idea of it going down the middle of my back and i was just wondering if it would feel more painful along my spine. I have alot of friends with tattoos and they said that it didn’t really hurt getting there tattoo until the needle ran over a part of there body such as their shin or the outside of their forearm where there is no muscle or fat between the skin and the bone. Just wondering. Thanks.

I think it’s been about three weeks since I pinched my nerve on the right side of my neck/shoulder. Now I feel a slight numbness in my right index finger and sometimes muscle soreness in my shoulder, tricep and forearm. Since then I didn’t go running like I normally would. The pain has slowly subsided and now I’m thinking about running again. Is it safe to run if it hasn’t completely healed? And are there chances that my condition will subside or will the nerve be permanently damaged?
