I went to the ER on Sunday for a possible broken wrist, and they said that they didn’t see any fracture on the film. They have me in a brace right now, but every time I slightly bump it or jostle it, it sends a shooting pain up my arm. I really think putting a cast on for a week or so would def. help, even if there isn’t a broken bone, and it’s only a sprain. How should I go about convincing my ortho of this?

· At birth I had a fracture in the pubic bones in the pelvic area, of frontal ring. but I have not received treatment, and forgot about it. Now I am about to be 50 years of age. i was trying to loose some weight, so I decided to take up walking an hour a day. And after a week of daily walking. my pubic bones were in so much pain when walking, that I had to stop. Is there a fracture inthat place, i gave birth 22 years ago can this be affecting my pain today?

The fracture also required immediate surgery in which a plate and six screws were in, and then another surgery 6-7 months after the date of injury to remove the plate and screws. I’m just wondering what chronic pain could stem from this process.

Looking particularly for any scientific data showing the pounds of compressive force needed to cause a depressive fracture on the skull. If you have this data on the various areas of the skull (temporal, occipital lobes, etc.), that would be even more helpful.

An impulse of 152 N s is required to stop a person’s head in a car collision. If the face is in contact with the steering wheel for 0.0259 s, what is the force on the cheekbone? Answer in units of N. If a force of 906 N fractures the cheekbone, how long must it be in contact with the steering wheel in order to fracture? Answer in units of s.

Do osteoblasts from the medullary cavity migrate to the fracture site? If the osteoblasts don’t, what does?

Specifically if said fracture is in you arm?
I need to know for a story I’m writing, but for whatever reason googling is proving ineffective. Though that could be because I’m sleep deprived…
Anyway, does anyone know?

Everywhere i’ve been reading keeps going on about how hard it is to heal a fracture of this type. The doctor said to wear an aircast for six weeks.. it’s been about 5 and I’ve stopped wearing the aircast because it doesn’t hurt and it feels pretty good. Am I healed? Or am I just playing with fire?

I somehow managed to fracture my radius close to the elbow joint while doing hurdles. How long will it take for me to be able to start track again and have full use of it?

I got in a car accident(Driver side tbone with windows down) and I’m beinging to think I got one of those two because occasionaly I lose all feeling in my left hand anything below where the said fracture/crack would be. I have a pretty high pain treshold so I don’t know what one would feel like. I only get discomfort when ever I move my hand in awkward positons.

The fomer First Lady from Taiwan claimed to have a fracture on her knee a few days ago. The intriguing thing is that she’s been confined to her wheel chair for many decades now, and she never needs to worry about moving around since there are always professional people to carry her on and off her wheel chair. So, this led me to wonder if someone like her can have a fracture or break a bone? If yes, how does that happen? I’m very curious, and your help will be greatly appreciated.

Oil formation fracturing requires thousands of gallons of water and fracture fluids. How many gallons of the fluid is recovered after the job is completed? Also, what is the flow rate of the flow back fluid?
