I hurt my upper back at work falling on the ice while delivering furniture (T-5) (T-4) The Doc said it would never heal correctly. Has anyone hurt their upper back and about what would be the compensation for this.
I can still work but I now have weight limits,Im not suppose to lift over 50lbs.The reason Im asking this is to know if I should get a Lawyer or let compensation offer me a settlement.

I am 22 years old college grad and a stocker at an office supply store during one of the most hectic times of the year. I make 9/hr. I have been there for about two months, never really liked it, but lately I can’t stand it.

There is a manager added to our shift because we are understaffed and desperately seeking help, but this guy brings with him complete obnoxiousness rudeness and unrealistic expectations.

I am responsible for stocking the furniture that comes in (the most strenuous work in the store). A lot of the time when we are falling behind on the general stocking, I have to help them and wont touch furniture for a week and when I finally do its built up and expected for me to finish in a day.

So I try to work my ass off and as a result injured my lower back about a week ago and I was out for a week.

I feel it is the right thing to do to at least stick around until the back 2 school season is over, but everyone is telling me that this isnt worth it how do i quit?

He is still mobile but walks like he is a senior citizen. This came on suddenly so I think he may have hurt himself while jumping up on furniture or playing. He has not lost his appetite and is able to use the litter box for both urinating and defecating. The vet checked his vitals and he is fine with no broken bones.

back pain?

i was stupid and i moved a bunch of furniture by myself yesterday, since then my back has been in extreme pain, i can bend over, i can’t stand on hard floors too long, i can’t even stand up for more than a minute with out it throbbing. the pain runs mostly across my back just above my butt, but when i stand too long it runs up to my neck and down my legs. Any suggestions? what i could have done to myself, or how to relieve the pain?

Lower back pain? Dislodged disc?

Few years back I was moving some furniture and strained my back. Ever since then I had recurring lower back pains.
Went to the doctor and she told me I have chronic lower back pains, but I am starting to think there is more to it.

Usually there is no pain from just doing normal tasks, but if i sit for a while my back become stiff.
The pain comes when I try to do a hamstring stretch(touch my toes) or try to bend over with straight legs, I get shooting pain my lower back and kind of on the sides of it.
I started going to the gym in past 6months, and my back has been better and worse. I was doing squats couple days ago and my pain got pretty bad a day after, I couldn’t sleep, now its better but I get pains shooting up my left leg and groin area…could I have dislodged disc? How can I get some pain relief or possible cure it?
