If you don’t mind answering, how did your injury happen?
Are you able to walk?
Do you go to therapy and if so have you noticed any improvement? If you have noticed improvement how long have you been attending therapy?
I’m 20 weeks pregnant, and I’ve started to have the worst pain down my right side. I know its got something to do with the sciatic nerve. It doesn’t happen everyday, but when it hits it totally cripples me. I spent an hour sitting in my car last night crying b/c I couldn’t shake the pain to walk 30 feet to my front door. I’m a really tough girl, but I’ve never felt pain like this before, and its really starting to frustrate me!
Is there anyway to prevent or at least make the pain bearable?
who caused the serious injury to my wife. Also forged the notary signature and admits doing so. We are told that maximum we could collect from them is the 0,000 insurance they have as a dealership. Is this true?
I have researched that China has a good program with umbilical cord blood that they store for different types of blood .
My doctor would like me to have a lumbar puncture as the final test in a diagnosis of MS. I have some bothersome symptoms, but not what you would call a flare up. I do not want to have a lumbar puncture at this time if it will not show evidence during remission.
A friend of mine got a really botched dental routine and now has to get a root canal and two permanent extractions due to this other dentist that messed her up. How can we find out if this dentist has done this type of thing before and if she can file malpractice on him?
I jumped and landed on another players knee right into my lower back just above the hip.
Does anyone have any info on a pinched nerve in the female genital?
its from a piercing
I have a bulging disc in my lower back, but I am also having issues with my arms and fingers going numb. I had a serious car wreck nine years ago, Is it possible the first symptoms of a back problem are presenting their selves now?
So I had an accident where another person hit me from the rear. My hubby and I both sustained injuries and are currently going to physical therapy. Also have other medical bills such as xrays, ER visits, and doctor office visits. I called an attorney and they immediately wanted to help me with my case and sign us on as clients. I know that my PIP coverage will cover up to 2500/person….but my lawyer thinks he can get money for pain and suffering, my medical bills, and my husband not being able to perform his job like he used too(he is a truck driver now w/ a knee injury). My kids thank god were okay and unharmed. I am also experiences alot of anxiety when I drive now due to the fact that auto accidents are one of my biggest fears. I really dnt want to have to pay a lawyer a percentage of my settlement bc I’ve heard of people handling the negotiations w/ the insurance company themselves. What is the first thing I should do to handle this on my own?? If I call them how would I negotiate something w/ them. Especially not knowing how long the physical therapy is going to last. Where do I begin and what should I say to them?? Thanks in advance! This is all new to me.
I have NOT officially signed the papers w/ a lawyer yet….that’s why Im not asking him/her….and of course if Im injured and in a accident that i was not at fault any lawyer is gonna want to represent me…..there is obviously money involved now…..
NO smart asses please….the lawyer I consulted with…not "my lawyer" there…
Keeping in mind that the sciatic nerve is a peripheral nerve…and this nerve is completely severed…
Thanks!
My brother had an accident on the Judo mat while he was on his regular practice on the 19th of this month. X-ray reports show that c5 and c6 have moved away from one another. He is parallized from neck to toe, however senses are there upto his belly. He has been fixed him with bed with 12 Kg contraction and is still not out of danger.
I am repeating this question with a hope that it will fall infront of someone who would be able to help.
Do action potentials happen here in the spinal cord? Or could they happen just about anywhere
I know the spinal cord has ascending and descending tracts that carry impulses to and from the spinal cord. Then the book describes lower and upper motor neurons. How come the spinal cord only has motor neurons? What about sensory so impulses travel up the spinal cord to the brain? And why are the motor neurons divided into uppe and lower?
