About two weeks ago, I was walking across the grass in a public high school (in California), when I walked into a sprinkler hole and severely sprained my ankle. I did not notice that anyone was around and went on and limped throughout the day. I now have a huge medical bill and haven’t been able to work since. Would it be possible for me to sue and have them pay me back for what I have lost?
I went to the hospital the same day. But no, the school itself has no record of my injury.

So my friends and i had to make a short film for school, and part of the clip involved me jumping backwards onto my back, landing in a patch of grass. The first time we filmed it, the scene didn’t go so well, and we had to shoot it again. Then it turned out the second time was no good so we had to shoot the film a third time. After we were done, my spine and head hurt and i was wondering if i could have sustained any spinal or brain injury? Could i have lost brain cells or something like that?

I posted yesterday about my dachshund Dexter acting strange..well I took him to the vet and he definitely slipped a disc. His back legs aren’t working properly. The vet doesn’t think he’s paralyzed because she used this pinching thing on his back legs and he reacted, but she said he needs to be put to bed rest for 6 weeks and given a boatload of medicine daily. I got a big crate for him to stay in with his blankets and water. What else should I include in it?
Also for the bathroom issue..I have to carry him out and sat him in the grass and wait for him to go. He had a bowel movement but he hasn’t urinated today. The doc said I could try lifting his back legs up to sort of help him go but it didn’t work. Any advice?
Also do you think it’s okay if I let him sit in my lap as long as he doesn’t move? 6 weeks with no real interaction besides taking him out to the bathroom sounds hard..surely letting him sit in my lap can’t cause harm?? advice please. I want him to get better.

My dachshund Dexter has a slipped disc. He was on bed rest for a couple weeks and the past week or so I’ve been doing exercises with him in the bathtub. Anyway he is starting to walk. Before he would just drag his legs, now he puts his back legs up as normal but after a few steps they wobble like he is unsteady and usually he plops down, then gets back up. Is this normal? I’ve had to carry him to the grass a ways from my apartment because he’s still dragging a bit and on the concrete it hurts his skin.
Will he always be a bit wobbly like this? I hope it will get better..it will be probably not be completely gone but enough that he’s able to walk more easily..are there any other exercises I should do with him besides the bathtub to get his back legs strong again (ive noticed he has put on a bit of muscle). Should I encourage him to move as much as possible inside (on the carpet)? Thank you
yes Ive seen the vet twice (once right after he slipped the disc and the last time about 2 weeks ago)
