I’m doing a paper, and need some resources. I wanted to see what type of care and assistance hospitals give patients who have a bad spinal injury and lose mobility. What type of resources do they offer them soon after? Or do they offer anything? Thank you

He said that the check could be picked up tomorrow and called today to say a "lien check" must be done first. We are to call back on Wednesday to find out what happens next. Checks have all been signed from expected settlement. Is this normal? Wouldn’t he already know if there are liens since he’s been receiving all the hospital bills? Wouldn’t I know because they need a signature for a lien? Please help. Thank you.
I have signed all the checks to everyone who is to be paid…hospitals, doctors, in-home nurse, lawyer. I was supposed to pick up a cashier’s check tomorrow from his office. Now, he said he needs to see if there are any liens against me and I have to call Wednesday. I appreciate all the feedback so far.
It was a severe car accident and negotiations were with my health insurance company (according to my lawyer). It makes no sense to me as I was told that everything was over and I only needed to pick up a check and sign some papers. Any further feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If they weren’t always able to be sued, when did they change it so that hospitals could be sued?

Our son was killed in a hospital and unfortunately those responsible are getting away with it. Really need to find help in filing first documents to get ball rolling. Don’t want any money but we must get some kind of justice for our darling boy and we feel we must bring this hospitals screwups into the light of day to protect current and future patients. And yes i have proof just can’t get any lawyer interested not enough possible cash in it for them. Just need pointed in right direction and access to legal documents and filing fees.

URINE TEST–not blood. The town this happened at is too cheap/poor to give blood tests. You have to pay for those upfront at arrest time to the hospital on your own dime.

I know this may not be the place to post this but thought you guys might know more about this kind of thing.
3 yrs ago I had a spinal cord injury which left me without the use of my right foot….after a lot of exercise & perseverance it’s slowly beginning to get better & I’ve regained partial use of the foot even though doctors said the injury was permanent….since the accident the muscle running down the back of my upper leg [hamstring] often goes into cramp…..when I attempt to do like butt exercises for example by laying on my back & with knees bent….lift up the lower part of my body my hamstring totally cramps up….it also happens at times while I’m sat at my computer but when I straighten my leg it goes away…..any suggestions please as I really want to get on with more exercises but this damned thing is holding me back slightly…….do you think it needs more stretching? it doesn’t happen in my other leg, just the one that was injured……Thanks guys for your help……
I walk quite a bit & do some running & cycling but I don’t have any problems with the cramping then…it’s only when I bend my leg to like sit atmy computer or to attempt certain exercises…..also the hospital have signed me off as they said there was nothing more they could do……they were hopeless anyhow…sorry, not knocking the hospitals but in my case they couldn’t help!
sorry to waffle guys thought I’d just mention that the hamstring in my injured leg does feel shorter than in the other non-injured leg…..

I need to hear any recomendations you have for doctors and hospitals in Masr that are advanced at treating Spinal Injuries…especially if any of them are using stem cell therapy,

and also any that have extensive experience in Rehabilitation after spinal injuries.

Aditionaly if any of these recomendations are outside Egypt, It is helpful also..but I am primarily interested in Masr at this time. Shukran!

A friend of mine is downing the hospital I work at, saying it has the second highest malpractice rate in the state. I was wondering if somebody could tell me what hospitals in Indiana have the highest malpractice rates? A link would be great as well.

For some reason I thought if you had a work related injury, hospitals had to bill the workers comp and it was illegal for them to bill any private medical insurance. I know auto insurance has a cap, like 0,000 personal injury and once that runs out the medical insurance starts being billed but for some reason I thought it was different with work comp claims. Was I wrong?

Hello guys, am in need of serious help for severe Back and neck pain of my brother !
I need to find if there are any hospitals or cure centre which cures and remove this kind of pain completely !
He has attended few of them but no results !
So was looking for some of the best institutes/hospitals preferably in India (but can be abroad also).
It’ll be great if the cure does not involve scissors and knife !

i expierenced a very tramatic birth expierence a woman can go through,my daughter is now 6 and i was just informed from the school that she has ADHD,development delayed of 2 years,learning delayes.I was in labor for 5 days the second day of labor they broke my water and it was like a dark green color,the 3rd day of labor my baby’s heart stopped and they had to give me a c-section,when my daughter was born she had a cronic lung infection because of breathing all her bowel movement in ,they left her in her own bm for 2 days without abiotic fluid,i could not hold my baby for a week,i wanted to breast feed but she was unable to eat because she was to weak to breath on her own and her heart was unstabe aswell,i was so heart broken for her.Now my daughter is paying for the hospitals mistakes,oh yeah i had a doctor which never seen me once during my labor,i had student doctors poking at me,i felt like a slab of meat,i begged them to help my baby,but they just ignored my cries,i need support.
