on 10/26/2005, i involved in a serious auto accident where i had head injuries, back injuries, arm injury, and emotional distress. the medical bills were close to 15k. I still havent recovered all the way so I am still going to the doctors once a month. i was stopped at a red light when a car lost controll and hit my car totaling it instantly. the driver of that car had full coverage insurance and so did i. i have already hired a lawyer who will represent me. around july 2007, the lady’s insurance company, allstate, offered me ,000 but i refused to sign the release form and now we are going on trial. i was just wondering how much money i will get from this because it will take about another two years. i mean the accident happened in 2005 and it looks like i wont get the money until 2010 or 2011.

I’ve heard that limiting legal fees and malpractice awards in medical awards cases is a large part of the high cost of medical coverage. Just how much money (percentage wise) does this represent? No one seems to know. Doesn’t it make sense to have the government reduce or limit malpractice fees and awards to reduce everyones health care costs? My friend is in jail today for driving drunk. The police officer said she will be transfer over to a courthouse tomorrow morning and I was wondering if they will make her plea or will it just be a meeting with the judge to arrange a court date? There is a typical money-grubbing swine of a lawyer with an office just down the street and these jerks NEVER shovel the public sidewalk outside their office. I try to walk on the public sidewalk and i have to trudge through a month-old pack of snow and ice 4 inches thick. This just MIGHT cause me to slip and fall and take their hook noses to court!!
