For a week I’ve been having this horrible pain in my chest everytime I swallow. For 3 days the pain went to my back. So now I have both upper back and chest pain, everytime I swallow. I went to my doctor 3 times and to the Emergency Room once, but they have no solution. I tried Motrin, Mylanta, Advil, and Ibuprofen. Yet, no medicine works. Is there anything I can try or do to relieve this pain? I have not been able to eat or even drink a simple thing like water without pain.

I’ve had a really bad pain in the back of my foot that’s been going on and off for the past 2 years. It usually gets worse during the football season because of the practices, and goes away a few weeks after the basketball season. My dad says when he was younger he would get the same thing every basketball season, and he said that the bone is probably bruised. I’ve been taking ibuprofen and icing it often, but neither of them really help. What do you think is wrong with it, and what should I do to help the pain?

Right now i am looking for any medicine or over the counter cocktail that I can take to relieve severe back-pain that is related to my Scoliosis? I like so many others do not have health insurance and do not want to go the illegal route. The weather here in KC makes it the pain unbearable and today I am just looking for anything. The ibuprofen that I am taking is barely doing anything? Any suggestions out there?

My husband has Sciatica and is in allot of pain all the time, especially at night when he tries to sleep. He takes Ibuprofen, but it does very little. Are there any home remedies for the pain? Or any ideas at all?

Good morning team, your mission, should your choose to accept it is to suggest concepts that may assist in the pain management of a disc injury.
As background this is the second time I have ruptured this disc and yes it is L4/L5, as usual. Two of my three siblings have each had at least one similar event if not more, each of us has undergone a surgery for each previous injury. We each lead an active life, for example I originally injured my disc while doing some tech diving and a year after the injury my spouse and I completed a ½-marithon. I provide this information in the hopes a doc out there can help. This injury occurred in January, at the time I believe the disc was only bulging but instead of letting it heal I continued with my normal activities and complicated the injury.
I am currently taking 2-7.5 Lortab’s along with 1200 mg of Gabapentin three times a day (at least). On top of that I commonly take 800mg of ibuprofen twice a day and an occasional Percocet in the
