I was injured at work while lifting a jet Ski out to a dealership because their forklift was broke. My work expected me to lift crazy amounts of wieght every day. After I got hurt, I let my boss know what happend. He begged me to keep working. After two days on the job, that night I coud’nt even get out of bed. After going through Workmans Comp and Back surgery I contacted a lawyer to handle my case. I am also seeking emotional and stress related injurys as well. The lawyer and I felt that I was worked over by my company. It has now been 8 months involved from injury to present.I have’nt heard from my lawyer in three months. I would just like to know the norm for such a mess and what I should expect in the future? I have healed good but still have pain. How much money will likley come my way? I am a student now and trying to become a nurse.

My father got into a really severe accident in work, and his injurys are very severe also, but the lawyer says he can only get him less than 8,000,,,only beacuse he has no broken bones. He also waited more than 2 years and he still hasnt brought my father to court. My father also went through 6 months of physical therypy,, and left with really large sacrs on his arm,,and his ear. The company however has been warned to changed the saftey of the machines many times before,, as soon as my father got injuried, they fix that problem right away. My father still today has very much pain in his arm. Not only do i think the accedient left just phyical scars, but also emtion sars. I really do no think its fair beacuse he has been working there for a really long time (more than 10 years). i believe he can get more than 8,000,,if any one can please help me, i would appericate it
