I just purchased a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited for 00. I’ll be putting about 0 into it to change the brakes and charge the AC. The insurance will cost me 7/month with collision or /month without collision. I’m pretty sure the deductable is 0. Is it really worth the extra 8/year for collision on a 00 vehicle?

My wife and I have a 9 month old 22 pound little girl who goes everywhere with us in a jeep front facing infant carrier. We bought it when she was 9 pounds so carrying her this way was no big deal. After growing over twice that size we have started to realize the lower back ache from this and need a new one with great lower back support. The Jeep carrier is only rated to 26 pounds so we need something bigger than that. We love putting her outfacing and she really enjoys it also.
