I am 20 years old and 5"0 and 90lb.

These resulted from a car accident and the doctors hired from the car insurance made the report that they believe my bulging discs were a result of that. But this accident happened 2 years ago and payments for further chiropractic or medical expenses related to these discs have been discontinued bcz they believe I have no lifelong disabling injuries.

My Medicaid expires in 2 months. So I will have no insurance. I asked my physician and she said she doesn’t know how to advice me in that area bcz it’s not her expertise. The spinal surgeon she recommended me to, well their office won’t see me bcz this is a post-car related accident, not something that is birth-related. The car accident orthopedic surgeon she recommended me to won’t see me because my car accident claim has been discontinued.

So I have NO ONE to turn to ask how am I supposed to work out, how do I exercise. Anyone with bulging discs, how do you manage the pain and work out?

I was involved in a 3 car accident. The car behind me hit me twice (once on the back right and once on the side as he swerved and lost control) causing me to hit the car in front of me. I was driving my dad’s car for the summer because I’m doing an internship away from home. Since my dad’s car is useless now, I needed to get a rental car. I would also like to get some medical expenses covered because I am experiencing back and neck pain. My questions are: Will the other person’s insurance cover the cost of the rental car although the car is not mine but I am the one using it for the summer? And should I get a lawyer to handle this situation? (Also, my dad is 8 hours away from here and the car is still in the tow lot since I am staying at an extended stay hotel and have no where to keep the car.)

how do I settle a bicycle accident without a lawyer?

a car hit me from behind while riding my bicycle, i went to the hospital but did not suffer major injuries. I just want the person responsible for this to pay for my medical expenses and my bicycle without having to go through a lawyer but his insurance information is not available and neither is his phone number… can you help me ?
i got hit by a car from behind while riding my bicycle, yes i have a police report and witnesses. But the police report doesn’t have his insurer or policy number, what would be the next step on this case if i did not want to go through a lawyer? All i want is for the person responsible to pay for my medical bill and my bike .. what can i do!!! i dont want to go through a lawyer
!
how can i get his insurance info if the policy number on the report is expired? i made an attempt to contact him directly but i think he doesn’t want to give me his info. He is from out of state so the billing dpt. can’t get involved. I have to do it. my injuries are not bad enough to build up a case the lawyer said.

I have a lawyer who is handling my accident case. Lawyer’s employee has written a rough draft of my demand letter to seek my compensation. However, I notice that the employee has missed around 00 worth of my medical expenses.

Clearly, I’m going to point this out to the lawyer’s assistant, but how do I express my disappointment in this kid of huge inaccuracy? I feel as though the lawyer should apologize and maybe they should compensate me for making this kind of inaccuracy. (Since I’m paying the lawyer, it should not be my job to check their work. In doing so, spending several hours)

I was in a car accident back in September. I was at a stop light, with 2 other cars in front of me. The lady behind me had atleast 1 and a half car lengths. She was stopped also. The light turned green, the first car proceeded through the intersection, the second car moved up to make a right turn, i moved up no more than 5-7 feet. and then WAM. My car was slammed by the lady behind me. She totaled my car, I have been to a chiropractor, now I am in physical therapy awaiting to see whether or not a MRI is going to be ordered. I have had and still have to this moment Low Back Pain, and Neck pain. The other ladies insurance have been taken care of me as far as being off work, medical expenses, etc… I dont feel like I need a lawyer simply because my main concern is getting back to pre-injury status. Which is what the insurance company says is there goal. It has been a pain in the neck but I dont see being sue crazy as number one. What should I expect from here on out? I dont know if I will ever be back to normal, as I have released all previous medical history to them because I never had any medical history.
Sorry, The second car stopped while yielding for a pedestrian.

I got into a car accident recently. No injuries thankfully. The car damage will be roughly about 00 (The appraiser has not yet sent me the estimate). The car is not drivable, so I am taking the bus/metro. I also went to the doctor for a checkup (which cost me my basic co-pay).

The adjuster called me and said they will refund 0 towards my travel/medical expenses. I said fine. Today, I got a letter from them saying I have to fill a "Release of All claims" form.

The form basically mentions that they will pay me 0 and says that I will not hold the insurance company or the insured liable for any more claims. Is this a standard procedure? It does not even talk about the additional expenses (approx 00) which will be towards car-repair.

Please advise. What should I do? It is a typical auto insrance claim with no injuries. Why are they making me sign such a Release of Claims form? Should the form mention about the car-repair expenses also?

info on auto accidents and the insurance?

I would like to know that if your in a car accident after you pip is exhausted can your lawyer have the other insurer pip cover your medical expenses. Also on most insurance policies isn’t the bodily injury coverage any where 100,000 and 300,000. The reason for this question is my insurance company wants me to pay for my shoulder surgery out of my settlement.

I got in an auto accident where a person was cited with failure to yield. The car I was driving was totaled. I have and will continue to have medical expenses. No major injuries, sore neck, back and headaches. How much is standard to receive in a claim such as this… beyond the replacement of a totaled vehicle?

I had a claim today the member lives in a no fault state for auto insurance. A medical claim was submitted and it was a work related auto accident (mail carrier), workers comp has denied the claim, will the no fault automobile insurance pick this up? Even if it’s a work related auto injury?
Sorry, evidentally I was very vague when asking my question..

I work for the person’s health insurance company, and we’re trying to investigate third party liability. The member is the subscriber/insured of our plan. She is a mail carrier and was injured in a car accident while delivering mail. Workers comp denied their claim for whatever reason, but now we’re being told we need to investigate if their auto insurance will pay as they live in a no fault state. If you live in a no fault state when you’re in an accident your auto insurance pays for your damages regardless of who’s at fault. The other drivers insurance pays for their on damages as well. So I’m asking if her auto insurance will pay for her damages/medical expenses if she’s injured in a work related car accident. Or will her auto insurance pay regardless of whether it’s a work related injury or not?

Do you think we should do more investigation as to why workers comp denied the claim?

Not sure what to do. I need help with some medical expenses related to the injury. Any advice?

My wife and I were involved in an auto accident recently. We were hit from behind while waiting at a traffic light (red).
They other diver aggreed that it was his fault. Both of us have auto insurance from same company. His policy is covering damage to my car. My insurance company (which is same as his) says I get health coverage from my policy and not his policy.

Since it is from my policy, they say, I am subjected to deductibles and co-pay.

My question is
a) Is it true that irrespective of whose fault it is, I get health benefits from my policy?

b) If the other driver’s policy is covering my medical expenses, will I still have to pay for co-pay and deductible? After all it is his fault and why should I bear additional cost?

c) I have bodily injury liability in my policy. Similarly other driver must be having the same. That means his policy should pay me.

I was involved in an accident on July 1, 2009. I was coming through an intersection (with a green light) and a vehicle coming in the opposite direction decided to pull out in front of me and make a left hand turn. I ended up hitting them. They were found at fault. I settled with my insurance company to cover the cost of my vehicle. Damages came to about , 500 and with that amount my car was totaled. My insurance company (Nationwide) gave me about ,500, the other drivers insurance company offered me almost a thousand less. I was still financing, so the entire ,500 paid for what I owed on my car. I then hired an attorney. I sustained a concussion (which I still encounter headaches from and it could continue for years), neck and back pain, lots of bruising, bumps and burns (from the air bags deploying), not to mention the emotional trauma I am STILL going through, I dove into a deep depression from it all. I have about ,000 in medical expenses (physical therapy, doctors visits etc.) My claim has just now been passed over to the insurance company! What should I expect? What should I base my settlement amount off of? How do you determine how much you should be awarded for pain and suffering? I lost my job from the accident (because I had no car). It’s been almost a year and I still have no car. Can’t afford to buy one without a job and can’t really get a job without a car (goes hand in hand). This wreck has put me through a lot. I hope and pray it’s my last. Any advice? Anything I should go by when the insurance company comes to my lawyer with an offer? Any advice or suggestions is much, much appreciated! Thank you!

I was in an auto accident three months ago. I still have back and neck pain. I was originally sent to physical therapy which didn’t help. My doc. then sent me to a chiropractor who has helped a little, but just can’t seem to fix it. He took X-rays and found I have spondylosis (I guess I already had it but didn’t know. It was just aggravated by the accident) and scoliosis (which I knew I had). Both of these things are complicating my healing from the accident. The chiro doc is really trying hard, but says I’m a challenge. If he can’t fix it, and the physical therapist couldn’t, what can be done? I’m only 40, and was healthy and active before. Will the other insurance company (the person who hit me) cover future medical expenses if I can’t fix it and will need chiro or ortho care in the future? I’m afraid to sign anything until I’m all the way better, but don’t want this to drag on forever either. Any advice is really helpful, because I really don’t know what to do. Thanks!
