I recently went to the E.R. for severe neck pain. They took several x-rays while I was there, in those they found that I have an extra vertebrae, and one vert, that could have split into two. What its doing is pushing the vert. in my neck out to the right, thus the pain. I really haven’t found much out and haven’t seen my regular dr. cz he moved outta state. If any one who reads this has similar information please give me all the details. My mom and brother both have the same pain, the same bulge in our necks which makes me think that it is genentic.

My mother was attacked without a cause by her psycho ex boyfriend. she was choked, punched and slammed against the walls. Luckily all she got were some bruises that have already started to heal. They are fading fast. She did try to defend herself and managed to literally almost bite a chunk of skin off the hand he was attacking her with.
She went to a lawyer and was told that she couldn’t sue for injuries that will heal in less than 2 weeks. his injury WILL take more than week to fully heal. now they are just fighting for custody of my half baby brother.
I don’t understand whats going on with that lawyer but by that logic i could go out and punch your mom and if she is only bruised and heals before 2 weeks, she cant sue for injuries.
I should also mention that this happened in Mexico. More specifically Tijuana.
In a way i know what the problem is already….(its Tijuana >_>) but on the other hand i am not familiar with Mexican laws to establish a valid reason of why she cant get compensation out of that a-hole!
he probably would’ve killed her if it wasn’t because she wasn’t alone at the time…so what the hell???
right i think im coming off wrong. its not that we want any financial gain from that, its just that the guy told us we cant just sue because its a bruise…..and even though maybe all she got were bruises and a swollen face, it was a full out attack on her. and there were witnesses! yet, he said we cannot do anything about it
also, we did call the police but the guy’s mommy came and took him away quick so they never had a chance to get him. i dont know what’s going on down there but it really does seem like somehow, someway, we got the shortest stick out of the bunch and we cant do anything but ALLOW the guy to see the kid when he does shit like that INFRONT of the kid. he’s only 5 :\
please guys forget about getting money for the bruise, that isnt my intent whatsoever even if it sounded like it. my point is just that we cant even sue for assault or battery in this case and i dont know why
yeah -_- think from now on the only thing we’re ever going there for again is just tacos. even then thats gonna be a pretty dangerous trip, lol.

My cousin got injuerd at football practice yesterday, they took him to the hospital and he had spraned his ankle, now my aunt wants to pull him out of football because of it. I mean the boy is 16 he is a MAN! If he gets injured he should be worrying about it, not his mom.
AM I RIGHT?

My mom has Sciatica and she’s getting surgery on wednesday. But right now, her legs hurts horribly, and she can’t sleep. She’s taking the medication, and it’s been working, but once in a while her leg starts to hurt. Do you know what I can do to at least make the pain not hurt so much?

I have blood in my semen and pee and severe abdominal cramps. My mom is a retired nurse and figured it was a ruptured kidney. I have passed out for a moment 2 times while waiting for the ambulance to come. They will have to take my kidney out. Anyone been through this? What should I be expecting? Thanks.

When I was seventeen, I broke a toe playing ping pong. My brother hit a ball that went towards the wall in our basement and I smashed my toe against a metal pipe. The toe next to my big toe was bent ninety degrees towards the outside part of my foot. I dislocated it three more times before my mom would take me to the doctor.
I don’t know if any of you can beat that, but I know you’ve got some good stories!

hi, my wife just had spinal surgery and she didn’t want my family to visit her in hospital. My mom visited her anyway, my wife was asleep. She was annoyed when she found out. Now she just got out of the hospital and my mom wants to visit her. I would like my mom to come over, I don’t understand why she doesn’t want her to visit, her family comes and visits. It’s kind of insulting to me and my family, regardless of how she feels, I think it is rude. What do you think? Should my mom be allowed to visit us?

Can anyone explain this? I know that their mother wouldn’t have the missing vertebrae hanging around in her womb for 5 years, because that’s impossible, but this seems more than just a coincidence…
(In case you’re curious; my aunt, 5 years older than my mom, with her one missing vertebrae, is short and always has neck & spine problems. My mom, with her extra vertebrae, is tall, and deals with scoliosis…)

At the end of last month I woke up and I could barely move. For the next three or four days I couldn’t walk on my own. I was in severe pain. I’ve had back pain before but nothing like this.
This morning my mom woke up and she could barely move. She’s hurting just like I was. Neither of us has done anything strenuous.
What could cause us both to have severe back pain like this?

My grandfather passed away recently and my uncle is the executor of his will. His will is, basically, as follows
House/Everything in it- my uncle
Getaway house (small plot of land up in the mountains, mobile home) – My moms
100K – Uncle
300K- mom
I’m pretty sure my uncle is not going to give my mom anything, how would we go about filing a lawsuit?
How much would it cost?
How long would it take?

So my mom is going to sue a hospital out here in Arizona for malpractice, we want to move back to california so my question is: in order to file a malpractice lawsuit against some one, do we have to live in the state of AZ(where it happened)? or Can we file it in California?
Also how long does the statue of limitations run out after how many years?

My mom got rear-ended and her arm hurts terribly. The other party’s insurance knows that there was injury involved. What steps should we take from here on out? Do we need to get a lawyer? Will they cover all the medical bills? How does that work?
