My friend’s spinal chord has broken between C-4 & C-5 in an accident. He is suffering from complete paralysis since last year. This is very terrible situation for him and his family. Is there any treatment about this case. Please suggest doctor, therapy or any other possible process. Money is not matter.

I have a pain that shoots down my right leg. The doctor said that it is my sciatic nerve and he recommended an MRI but my health insurance does not cover it or not the whole thing which costs over 2500.00 and I do not have that kind of money. Any suggestions?

Since the proclamation of man made global warming is a fraud and is not only going to cost us money and jobs, it also has been causing starvation in poor countries due to food being used for fuels. Would it be possible for American’s to get together and have a lawsuit against all those who created this fraud? The scientist who manipulated the data, the political officials like Obama and Gore, the UN, and any Corporate and Banking institutions involved?

I’m now in the expert phase of my medical malpractice case. Do you think it will end soon? I hope it will settle so I can have money to have my surgeries/procedures I need. What if it goes to trial??? I don’t want to wait that long. What are signs that they are going to offer a good settlement?

My wife was hurt in an auto wreck. The other driver was determined to be 100% at-fault. The wreck destroyed my wife’s car, and she had to be cut out of her car. Several people have told us not to hire a lawyer because they would take half of her settlement. However, her multiple injuries are taking a long time to heal and there is nerve damage in her neck. Also, her nose was knocked out of allignment, up to the point of where it meets, near, her eye socket. It is not very noticable, but still not good and is several inches long, in terms of what was knocked out of place. I am afraid that her injuries are something we would need a lawyer to help help get a fair settlement for. In other words, the money that a lawyer may be able to obtain may be far more than she might get on her own. Whatever the settlement award is, is not worth the pain, suffereing, and disruption of to her life. However, I want to make sure that my wife gets made whole and that the decision to hire or not hire a lawyer is considered properly.

So heres the situation: I was in a car accident over two weeks ago. I was going to turn left when a car smashed into me, running a red light. They were totally at fault, I have witnesses. My car is drivable, but I havent been driving it to work since the bumper is off, the headlight is busted, and just basically smashed up. Anyways, I contacted their insurance company (American Access Casualty Company) which from what I’ve read is one of the worst insurance companies who will drag their feet and take forever getting back to you. They finally sent an adjuster out last week, said they’d contact me in 48 hours, and never did. I finally had to call them and leave harrasing voicemails, and they finally returned my call, saying my car is considered totalled, and the reason they havent pursued it further is because they’re waiting on a police report and they cant get ahold of the people who hit me. Im pretty sure this is just bs, as many people have told me insurance companies will say and do anything to prolong paying you. This is my first wreck, so Im not sure what to do here. I already called and made an appointment with a car accident lawyer. Im just wondering how long it should take with the help of a lawyer to get my money for my car, pain and suffering, and time without a car. Im starting school in less than 2 weeks, and have to have a way to get around. Thanks!
i had a big bruise under my chin from where the airbag deployed, but no medical bills, since i didnt go to a doctor. but i had to miss work the day after it happened because of headaches and sore bruise, so that should count for something, plus all this time ive been without a car, in my state (arkansas) they have to pay you for the time you didnt have your car. it was 100% not my fault, i did stop before going to turn, they literally came out of nowhere. i have 2 witnesses, so if anyone tries to say i am at fault at all, i have 2 peoples names and numbers who will say different.

The doctor told my fiance a few months ago that he had a ruptured disk. He gets burning pains in his left leg when he stands or walks for more than a half hour or so, and he doesn’t want to go through surgery to correct the problem (we have heard it doesn’t really do much good, and also, we don’t have the money for it). Does anyone know what we can do that would be non-invasive to help the situation? Right now he’s using a cane, but that only helps slightly. Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

I live in CA. I was injured at work and have not been able to go back for two months now. I am almost a month late on my rent and am now facing eviction. My employer is making life hell by not giving me my needed Workers Comp and I’ve had to get lawyers involved because of this. I had to borrow money for last month’s rent. Do I have any legal protection? How can I avoid eviction?

I have talked to several with no satisfaction.
My situation is thus: Last week I inadvertantly nailed my foot to the floor with, what I thought, was a quality nail gun. After running in circles for aboout an hour, I became dizzy and rammed my head into the doorframe. Thanks to the Para- Medics, I was rescued from what could have been a much more serious fate.
Anyway, all of the attorneys I have talked to say I can’t sue myself for negligence. Why not? I have a lot of money. Why can’t I get some?

I am without representation to handle my hospital bills and compensation processes because I could not communicate with her over the phone because of my hearing disability. At least that is her excuse for firing me, but the real reason, I guess, is that I don’t have insurance to pay the treatments and there will be little money left if any at the settlement for me or her. I was hit as a pedestrian in Atlantic City four months ago. Bills are coming in. I am willing to handle the matter myself if I knew what to do. I am trying to find a new lawyer but who will pick up a trash discarded by another person. Is there anything I can do?

We have been dealing with a personal injury lawsuit for about two years. The accident occurred in CA and we reside in another state, so we are dealing with our attorney all long distance. The case has been complicated, mainly due to an inattentive attorney from the start, whom we fired. We retained our current attorney not too long ago and the case against the defendants insurance company has been resolved and funds have been sent to our attorney. Here is where it becomes tricky. The funds for my settlement have been sent to us, the attorney is holding the funds from my husband’s portion of the settlement until a settlement is reached with our insurance company (the defendant was an underinsured driver, we had underisured driver coverage). Our attorney claims he cannot release these funds because he will more than likely need to spend the money on litigating the case against our insurance company..and it just does not make sense to me. In our eyes, the case against the defendant is closed (and in the courts eyes) I don’t see why the funds cannot be released, but my attorney alleges this is normal practice in personal injury law. Anyone have any experience with a situation similar to this? Thanks.
@leo, I don’t think you understand the nature of the question.

was playing basketball, and I was guarding my friend. He was dribbling and when he turned
around, his shoulder hit my chin, breaking my front tooth in half vertically (Kind of). But since it was
an already fake tooth which I broke long ago, I do not believe it will cost that much (Under 300?).
But my question is,,,, my family is kinda poor and does not have any money for the treatment which
I need to get soon. Do you think it would be bad if I ask my friend for half or at least one third of the
payment that will come out of the dental fee? And is that legal?
