Nerve damage was done a few years prior to the neuropathy. Taking pain pills for the pain just isn’t getting it.

My wife was hurt in an auto wreck. The other driver was determined to be 100% at-fault. The wreck destroyed my wife’s car, and she had to be cut out of her car. Several people have told us not to hire a lawyer because they would take half of her settlement. However, her multiple injuries are taking a long time to heal and there is nerve damage in her neck. Also, her nose was knocked out of allignment, up to the point of where it meets, near, her eye socket. It is not very noticable, but still not good and is several inches long, in terms of what was knocked out of place. I am afraid that her injuries are something we would need a lawyer to help help get a fair settlement for. In other words, the money that a lawyer may be able to obtain may be far more than she might get on her own. Whatever the settlement award is, is not worth the pain, suffereing, and disruption of to her life. However, I want to make sure that my wife gets made whole and that the decision to hire or not hire a lawyer is considered properly.

Almost 8 weeks ago I got a pethidine injection when giving birth that hit my sciatic nerve, making the injection not work, and causing some nerve damage, that is still quite painful.
Any approximate idea how long it will take to heal even slightly? Its really getting me down

I got in a fight and had my pinkie finger bitten. the wound is not deep and will probably heal soon. i was bit at the base of my finger and now the underside of my finger is numb. i’m pretty sure i have nerve damage but i don’t know what i can do at home to help it heal.

I went to the dentist 2 weeks ago, and when taking X-Rays, my dentist used a blue Anesthetic (not sure what the exact name of it was) to suppress my gag reflex. I was wondering if using to much could cause permanent nerve damage, or could I have some kind of allergic reaction to it that I dont know about? I have had a loss of flexibility in the left side of my lip since then.
