I have been experiencing lower back pain on the left side for several months, I had an MRI done and I have a bulging disc that is pinching the nerve. Can a chiropractor fix this, or do you recommend another doctor? Do inversion tables work?

I have a sharp pain in my upper back and have been through the ringer as far as medical tests are concerned. Nothing is wrong apparently except possible nerve/disc damage in my left side upper back. Both legs are really weak and my hamstrings hurt. Is it possible that this is from a nerve issue up by neck? thanks

pinched nerve, how do i make it heal faster?

I think i pinched my nerve in my arm, my left bicep hurts like hell in certain positions when my arm is up, sometimes I can’t hold a light thing like a bottle because the pain is severe.
Is there something I can do for it to heal faster, i’v been told it could take weeks to heal!

How long does it take for a ruptured eardrum to heal?

my 6 month old grandbaby rolled out of bed onto a rattail comb that was sticking up in his mother’s purse. The comb punctured the side of his head near his ear. We were told that the puncture injured the nerve to his eardrum, but also the eardrum itself was ruptured.

I had back surgery (microdisectomy) in january. I’m feeling better now but still feel a little pain. I doubt I’ll go any time soon but I was wondering if anyone has had this surgery (to repair a herniated disc that was pinching a nerve) and get went back into sports or martial arts? If so, how was it and how long did you take?

sciatic nerve help during pregnancy?

I am 12 weeks pregnant and for the past few weeks I have had left hip pain. It started out minor and now is excruciating. It is on the left side of my hip and sort of goes to the butt. I think it is a nerve. Any way to relieve this horrible pain?

back surgery?

I just got back my CT scan and the Dr. wants me to go to a neurologist. My L4 and L5 is messed up pretty bad. It has pinched my nerve. Has anybody had surgery on this and if so, what is it like, does it help, and what is the recovery time. I am going to a chiropractor tomorrow to see if he might can help me.

I have done an MRI and shown to have a herniated disk. sciatic nerve, pains shoot to the right leg beneath the knee.
pain increases when i stand up or sit.
Anybody who had the same symptoms or any advice is really appreciated. I don’t know who or which doctor I should see. My MRI was taken at ER and after they let me go they didn’t recommend me to any doctor. Thank you for your time

Even with a nerve ablation, Physical Therapy and medication, I am in constant pain from this. I was wondering if there is anything else to do or does on just accept this and deal with it?

Spinal Surgery Question?

Ok so i have a lot of questions. Im a 15 year old Gymnast. And i haven’t done gymnastics in 8 months because i have a stress fracture in the L5 pedicle portion of my back. I worn a brace for 4 months that wasn’t strong enough for me, and it didn’t work. Now i have another brace, with a thigh cuff. Its plastic material with padding, and there is a middle bar going down with a thigh cuff on my right leg. I need the thigh cuff because i have pain down my right leg from the bone touching the nerve and bone touching. My doctor said i have to wear the brace for a total of 3 months, and if that doesn’t work, to get a spinal fusion.

I am talking to my doctor about it tomorrow, because i have a lot of questions. I don’t want to wear this brace, because i already did wear a brace, and i wasted my time. I haven’t done any physical activity in 8 months, and i think that waiting another 3-6 months is pointless. My doctor might allow me to just get surgery instead, because i went to physical therapy for 2 months already.

I was talking to my coach the other day and she is 100% AGAINST surgery. She said i can die from it, get paralyzed, everything.

Now my question is, what should i really know about this spinal fusion?

the part of the disc pressing against the nerve will have to be removed. Which is the better alternative? To have minimally invasive microdiscectomy, or non invasive laser surgery? What are the pros and cons of each procedure?

I have been in server pain for a year now. My Dr sent me to a nerve Dr.The reason I am having all this pain is I have 3 bulging disc in my C spine. Now I cannot use my rt hand some times I have three trapped nerves in the rt arm. One in the neck one in the elbow and one in my hand.I have put up with this pain for a year now. no one know what I was talking about. They did not have any lifts for the residents you had to lift them with out Hope you can answer my question Thank you.
Yes I filled an incident report out went to the clinic they sent me to. Also went to therapy. With out any inprovement I no longer work there any more They treat me like dirt after I filled in the report. They were not very pleased There were three other workers helping life this lady and we had to do it with a cotton sheet. One ofthe other workers signed the incident report.

After I cut myself with a can opener, I put a rubbing alcohol where the bleeding is from which is on my knuckle. I waited a month and the pain is still there. I will like whenever I move my finger, on a hot day, or in general, it starts hurting like my finger is burning or something, and it becomes all red. Is this nerve related.? Whats the treatment, is the injury permanamt, and do you know what the condition is called?

Like suddenly it feels like there is a pinchy nerve and it hurts

I’m a writer and I need to know this information for a story I’m writing. Two of the characters are in a car accident, and one of them is left in a wheelchair. I was just wondering if there are any other options that I could put into the story instead of ‘paralyzed from the waist down’ or something. So, could nerve damage leave my character in a wheelchair? I don’t want it to be temporary, btw. Any other suggestions are welcome! Thanks in advance!
