I was a passenger in a limo and we got into a bad crash, my bills are huge. It turns out the company doesn’t have insurance (it is illegal) and my lawyer wants me to sue my own insurance instead of suing the owners of the company personally and putting a lean against their property. What should I do?
*To clarify, they want me to sure my own car insurance.*

I have wonderful medical insurance and they have covered a great deal but there is a lot that is remaining and that I lost personally (wages, etc). I personally think that the lawyer is in it for themselves (ie suing my car insurance will give them the money a lot faster). But I am certainly no legal professional

Or better yet, if they get their own insurance in the state of NC male, 28, employeed part time get a insurance that is not at a high rate even with the DWI?

Am I giving up my rights to settle my own insurance claim if I settle my children’s claim from the same accident by signing a parent’s release and indemnity agreement? If I decide to handle my own auto personal injury case, do I have to provide a statement to the other AT FAULT insurers insurance company? I was an injured passenger in my sister’s car and the other person was found to be 100% at fault by their own insurance company. Too, can I file a claim with my sister’s insurance and my own insurance? I am not with the same auto insurance carrier (it’s been about 2-3 months that I switched), but can I still claim with them? in October 2008, will be 2 years for my car accident. 2 months ago, my lawyer told m he can no longer proceed with my case unless i pay him hourly instead. Bills started to come to me–before i was on a lien. i just do not know how to deal directly with the insurance. I was rear ended, and it was not my fault.
My insurance is AMEX and the other driver is CAIGO.

6) 2 months disability report for my doctor
7) medicin2 only 0 ( i hate tranquilizers)

My insurance covers 100,000 underinsured motorist
My car bumper were only damaged, and its cost was only about ,500. i did not have police report at the scene, but after 5 days i went to the hospital with severe back pain…and the trauma began.
how should i start? should i add all the bills and double them and just ask for settlement for the amount?

i wasn’t in a natural position when the accident happended. i was totally stopped and twisting my neck and bending my back to have a clear view of the trafic–curved street stop sign.
i did nto demand any ammount..all i know my lawyers was asking 0,000 from own insurance and whatever from the other insurance. and he said we will see what happens..all the sudden he dropped towards the end.
my own health insurance so far paid for physical therapy visits, everything else was on alein, and now i start to get bills.
