New York. Every time I call him with a question he is very dismissive and in a rush, and barely lets me finish talking before hanging up.
I am getting fed up with the arrogance, and I am wondering:
1) Why do personal injury and car accident lawyers act as if they are doing ME a favor by handling my claim? Am I missing something here?
2) The only reason I have not fired him and gotten another lawyer is because a)most lawyers act alike, anyway, so there would be no point in switching. b)This man has had my case for three years now, and I don’t want to go through the hassle of finding another lawyer and dealing with new paperwork.

I live in Texas and I am in the process of buying a home directly from the seller. My bank suggests going to an attorney to have them complete the buyer/seller paperwork. What does it usually cost for this?

A couple of years ago I was performing my duties on the job site when I slipped and fell down a flight of stairs; injuring my hip and lower back in the process. My supervisor at the time did not provide me with any physical documentation (no paperwork) as to who to contact with a claim. The entity that I was employed by has now dissolved and my claim I feel should be filed against the property owner (the employer (or leaseor) to the work environment of MY employer) for – an unsafe work environment due to neglect. I feel that this injury (to my hip) will require more medical attention if not surgery in the NEAR future. My hip is killing me! Can someone help me?

I was wondering if any one could tell me if I should get a lawyer. And If I did would my settlement be any bigger. Or should I try and negotiate it out my self. I live in Delaware and the Other insance company has claimed Liabilaty. They are paying for my rental and have sent paperwork to release my medical records to pay them also. Please help!

Back in 2005, my boyfriend was pulled over for a dWI. He was sentenced to 5 years probabtion. He violated probation this year by driving without a license. The town where he violated his probabation gave him a year and the driving without a license was 60 days. The 60 days sentence was supposed to run concurrent (in synch) w/ his violation of probation sentence. For some reason, the jail has on record that it is going to run after the violation of probation sentence.I contacted his "free" lawyer and the lawyer took the case back to court. The judge said to get the paperwork together to prove to them that the sentence was to run concurrent.I have tried to call the lawyer repeadtly, with no response.I am also having an issue with the jail not adding up the previous time he did when he first was pulled over. That should be added in with his time, since it was previous time served. It has been almost 6 months with no answers.& with the previous time he should have been out by now! What to do???

Do they carryy the same amount of time in Arkansas. What is the difference? I mean does one carry a stiffer punishment and higher fines. I was wondering for my best friend got a DUI. But the courts have it mixed up as a DWI on the paperwork and should he leave it the way they got it or have them to change it to the DUI like it is. Does it make a difference. Thanks for your answers and God Bless.

I was actively recruited by Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas in the summer of 2005. I applied and was accepted. They knew that I was very disabled and needed to have a private room on the bottom floor. I was given a room on the second floor of the dorm, which didn’t have an elevator. I was walking up and down stairs multiple times a day for several weeks until the college finally found me a room on the bottom floor. During this time I developed a sore from walking so much, and it ended up getting massively infected. I had to drop out of the college during my second semester there. I filled out the paperwork to get medical leave, and had thought I received it. I was just informed a couple of weeks ago I never received medical leave. After a year and a half of missing school and undergoing multiple surgeries and I.V. antibiotics because of the sore I developed because of Lyon’s lack of ADA compliance, I would think I have a case. However, I can’t find a lawyer? Who can help me?

Still pain 8 mon. after anterior cervical disc surgery, in the USMC not sure if I can stay in. Whats the chance?
They seem to be only wanting to treat the pain not se if their is another injury. I had 4 bad disc but they said its only necc. to take out 2 right now.
So my questions are:
1. Why would I still be in pain all the research I find says there shouldnt be any
2. Whats the chance the USMC will let me stay in
3. If I do have to get out, will be percent of disability be worth the hassle of the paperwork

Besides getting a lawyer, how can I just file a civil lawsuit in Mecklenburg County, NC. What are the exact steps or paperwork to fill out.
It”ll be for about 0k plus punitive damages for wrongful discharge in voilation of public policy.
