I was hit on the back of my car today. The driver who bumped me from behind fled the scene. I called the police to file a report. Is it possible for me to file a personal injury claim in a hit and run accident in the state of Florida?

I have a personal injury claim against a pharmaceutical company. The lawyers representing me have received an answer from the company, and have now submitted my fact sheet and records. They have informed me that it is now a waiting game for the records and my fact sheet to be reviewed. How long until this is done…how long until settled?

Or do lawyers usually only have other lawyers represent them in criminal or ethics matters?
I know he could represent himself in a civil damages/personal injury claim, but would a lawyer normally? Like mentioned above, he could represent himself in a criminal proceeding, but that seldom happens, even if a criminal specialist themselves.

I have an auto accident/personal injury claim which the insurance company has sent to their law firm to handle. I only have a few days left before the statute expires and need to file for arbitration. Is there a form I’d use or do I just send a letter to the insurance companys’ law firm? If so, what should be included in the letter? Lastly, am I responsible for contacting and selecting the arbitrator?

My case involved a personal injury claim. During this period I also filed for bankruptcy, and my lawyer proceeded with the case. Now it looks like after paying him off, and the creditors, and bankruptcy people (trustee/his attorneys) – I’m not even getting 1/3 of the initial settlement!!! Is this fair? What can I do?

Lawyers don’t want to touch small personal injury cases….and insurance companies take advantage of that. Can a person hire a paralegal to help them with there small personal injury claim? How would one go about doing such?

I was recently in a hit-and-run car accident, and my insurance company keeps calling me to settle my personal injury claim. I want to make sure that I’m not signing away any rights that I might need later, but don’t really want to get lawyers involved. Where can I find more information about personal injury claims, what is included, and how to settle it?

I had a collision with a car while I was on my bike and was injured. Police were at the scene and took statements. The car driver was at fault. I’m going to file a personal injury claim but don’t really know what happens.

Can someone who’s been through this kind of thing give me details of what goes on?
Will the driver have to be convicted of driving without due care and attention or can I claim without a conviction?

It would be helpful to hear from those in the UK. Thanks.

I was recently involved in a car accident where the other person was at fault as determined by both insurance companies. They paid to fix my car already, but now I want to file a personal injury claim with the other persons insurance company without hiring a lawyer. Where can I learn the proper procedures and forms? Does any body have any sample demand letters I can use? Please help… Thank you.
