I had an adjustment today at the chiropractor which may help with some aching I am having directly in the middle of my buttocks. But I had read this is likely posterior pelvic pain and not sciatica and that I should not do things like stairs.
**So can exercise worsen this condition?
**Can I do the stair master?
**For this condition which would help more, chiropractor or physical therapist?

I am a junior in high school, and right now are looking towards being a physical Therapist, particularly in Sports Medicine. I would like to know what the average years are for completing this in college and what degree I am going to end up with. I’d also like to know what additional information i would need if I were to be in Sports Medicine instead of just being a Physical Therapist. Please only answer this question if you know what your talking about. Thanks.

I had surgery on my knee about 4 months ago, and have been seeing a physical therapist, doing excersices and such. But it seems like this recovery is going really slow. What is the typical recovery time after a ruptured ACL surgery?

I was at a stop light and was rear ended by another car doing approx 20-30mph. I went to doc and been seeing a physical therapist. I have a strained lumbar. The pain isnt excruitating but at times(driving and sitting for long periods) it does hurt. Can I sue? Is it even worth my time for what I’d get? Any info at all is apprecitated.

I fractured my right wrist approximately 3 1/2 months ago and I still am in great deal of pain and have trouble using it. I cannot bend it either forward or backward. This was a simple fracture according to my doctor and I am relatively young.
It was a Colles fracture + a styloid fracture. Right now, it is in a brace prescribed the second orthropedic surgeon I’ve seen. My physical therapist sent me back to the surgeon after watching my wrist swell during therapy.

i injured it about a month ago but im still having symptoms. i have attended physical therapy for 3 weeks now. my doctor first said i would be able to go back in a week and that week came and my physical therapist said no way. im really confused and im ready to start liftin and gettin back into my daily routine. how long will this take to heal or will i have to live with it forever? remember im only 16 and its a bulging disc in my neck.

I have a bulging disc in C-5/C6 and the MRI showed no nerve compression of any sort. However, the neck is supposed to be curved and mine is abnormally straight. I still have full range of motion and flexibility, but not in my right shoulder right now…I was in a car accident about 2 months ago. For the past two weeks I have not done anything to bring on this intense shoulder pain that radiates down to my elbow and sometimes into my hand. I was prescribed muscle relaxers and NSAID’s but they do not help at all! I see a chiropractor, physical therapist, massage therapist and my MD on a weekly basis.I feel like the pain has gotten significantly worse over the past two weeks and I am getting a lot more headaches as well. Can a rupture be causing this pain? How can I tell if it ruptured? Is there anything else I can do to alleviate my pain?

My doctor did a lumber MRI like 2 months ago because of some back, and leg pain I was having and found out I have a bulging disc. I am going in for an epidural injection in my back on monday, but just the last few days my pain has gotten A LOT worse. My back is KILLING me. I am in so much pain I cant even bend over. Every time I sneeze or cough etc Im almost in tears. At my physical therapy I go to, today I was in tears just from the normal simple exercises I do. My physical therapist suggested that maybe my pain has intensified because maybe my bulging disk is now herniated, or ruptured… Could that possibly be the reason for my EXTREMELY intensified pain?

A coworker recently had an operation to remove a bone spur on her toe. After the surgery, it was discovered that she had neuropathy. She is in constant pain now and is looking at having a spinal block done. The thing is, she did not have this neuropathy before the bone spur surgery. Plus, her physical therapist told her that her has actually gotten worse after the surgery. Is this a case that a malpractice lawyer would take? Or is this type of nerve damage just a risk of having surgery in the first place?

my insurance ran out so i cant go to the physical therapist.can i do some workouts or could it be something else.please help me.

When I went to the doctor about my lower back pain this is what the doc said is wrong with it. I can’t find much information about what it is and how to treat it. My doctor wanted me to go to a physical therapist but I don’t have insurance so it would cost to much for me go to one. I need to know if there is any exercises that I can do on my own to help relieve the pain? Thanks.

Can you tell me the symtoms. How were you treated? My Dr. did diagnose me with Piriformis Syndrome. I have been going to the physical therapist for about 3 weeks now and it does not seem to be helping. When I come out of therapy it seems to hurt down my leg. I’m thinking about going to a chiropractor. Is this a wise move.Does anyone have any tips for getting this under control.

So i have been diagnosed with Sciatic nerve pain and my baby is right on top of it. I only get the pain in the middle of the night and it goes away when i stand up but of course i cannot stand up all night so i was wondering if anyone else has experienced this and what helped them. I cannot see a chiropractor or physical therapist because my insurance does not pay for it!

How can I help my back injury?

I was recently diagnosed with a compressed disc in my lower back. It usually doesn’t hurt unless I do something for an extended period of time (like sitting in a chair for too long or standing for too long). I went to the doctor, got x-rays and some medication, but I can’t afford to go back to the doctor or the physical therapist (I’m in college).

Is there some way I can help my back injury? I’m working 40+ a week this summer, and it’s starting to get irritated again.

Thank you. :)
