A friend of mine has had an allergic reaction to some antibiotics that he had been taking previously. Long story short he took cortisone to clean out his system, and he is now currently taking cortisone pills. I am completely against marijuana and am concerned at the fact that he is planning to smoke it, i just need some reassurance that it wont be a problem, and if it is can you please let me know!

I took blood 5pressure pills and blacked out driving from the pills. I ran off the road and hit a tree.I was the only one injured.I blacked out from the pills and ran off the road.I was by myself.I dont drink. The dr. had given me 5 pills to take at one time. I woke up 3 hours later in the hospital. they said I had a wreck. a few days later I got a suphena to show up in court as a witness. I went to court and they said they were ticketing me for dwi and failure to control a vehichle. They said they drew my blood and my alchohol level was .11. How do I defend myself. I dont trust the appointed lawyer. He said its my word against theirs. Who put alcohol in my blood? What is going on here..Please this is serious no silly answers please.

so, i have the standard back pain that most people have. I lean over a lot at work and I know thats the main contributor. I was just wondering if there are any temporary relieving tricks besides pills that can make my back feel somewhat better. I have Dr Scholls shoes where they have the gel supports so that is ruled out. Plus, when i walk i try to maintain a good posture, so that can be ruled out. please, no dumb answers, looking for something that has worked for other people. thanx

I have something wrong with my back, I have arthritis but there is more going on there, MRI on SUN, I have had a lot of mild and occasionally severe back pain for about 10+ years. I had a spinal tap (lumbar puncture) done to check for spinal menengitis 3 months ago and my back pain is at least 2 levels worse and new symptoms are a lot of spasms and pain radiating out down legs and my arms have spasms too.
For 1, can you qualify for medical marijuana for a bulging disc causing long lasting pain? I already take a bunch of pills that don’t work and go to a pain clinic and therapy for the last 2 months and I live in MI
For 2, would it help? From what I have read I think it might. I’m already taking dangerous prescriptions and they don’t even help much, might as well give medical marijuana a chance right?? I don’t smoke but I could inhale vapors or eat it.
I do know that in MI, if you do not have a debilitation condition but have 1 or more other conditions like spasms, chronic pain etc. that you can get a med card for it but I don’t know, what do you all think?

Share your experiences with me please. I’ve finally been put on anti-inflammatory pills for it, but I’m curious what others have been through.

LOTS of pain….
LOTS
its like dull grinding pain….GRIND GRIND GRIND
but I refuse to take steroid or epidural shots at my discs
I’m a full time college student with 2 jobs…no.
I don’t take pills either….side effects….no thanks.
So I see a chiropractor for those bed machine-back rubs.
and i sleep/walk/breathe in pain
[i don't understand what a chiropractor's purpose in life is]
For anyone who has had a bulging disc…is it possible for me to do lots of bed rest and light work
and in 2 months start working on regenerating? Like….exercising and building muscles to make the back stronger?
Cause sleeping too much will make the muscles weaker. So confused.

Do you need malpractice insurance if you’re a Psychiatrist? I was wondering about if a psychiatrist gave someone some pills to correct a mental disorder and the patient had a severe reaction and wanted to sue.. So, do you need insurance?

Question Details: i had an acccident about a year and half ago and i was a passenger. i have no health insurance and have been footing all medical bills thus far. i am writing a demand letter right now but am wondering how much should be my compensation request.
here’s a brief summary. the other driver is at complete fault. i have all soap notes from doctors, bills and reports. we were hit head on while on our way to my root canal surgery, i was having my permanent put in. i had to go in 2 weeks later wearing a cervical collar. i have choronditis, back sprains and horrible knee contusions still left on my foot. my doctor has recommended physical therapy for up to 3 months but i can’t afford to go anymore thus why i am trying to settle.
total medical bills is about 12,000 not including other misc like pills.
i just don’t want to ask too high or be taken for a fool,so please help. thanks.
also the insurance company has never made an offer they said it was a hard hit. both cars in
honey luv. thx. yes i have police reports, soap notes from doctors, medical reports, er report, all bills, xray files and copies. it is other driver’s fault b/c of failure to yield. this was a head on accident and occurred early morning. would i be reimbursed for out of pocket expenses and should i include that in my medical expenses or not?
is it too late for pain and suffering? i had someone tell me it was.
