I’ve had some terrible pain in my back for 3 weeks. I went to see my doctor twice and she insisted that it was only some muscle pain which could be relieved by doing some sports, swimming for example. I tried sports but it didn’t help. I had my chest X-rayed and it said there was nothing wrong. Then I tried an analgesic rub used by athletes for muscle and joint pain and it worked very well but didn’t give me a permanent relief. I suspect that it might be a pinched nerve and I don’t know what to do with it.
It usually starts in the afternoon, getting worse and worse before I go to bed.
I am 23 and otherwise I’m functioning very well.

I just started back to work about a month ago and it is very hard work. The last 3 weeks my back has hurt and only getting worse. I feel pain right in the spine area in the lower back and pain shooting down both sides of my bum and down the back of my left leg all the way down to my foot, sometimes I get pain going down my right leg. My private area’s (female) and bum and leg get numb, I can still feel but not 100%. Feels like I have pens and needles in my foot and leg. Something weird just happen. I was sitting here with my laptop on my lap and I got a very sharp pain in my lower back and then my left leg jumped off the ground and I about dropped my laptop on the floor. I did not move my leg it moved by its self. Walking, sitting, laying makes the pain worse. I am going to go to the ER or doctor tomorrow I hope just wondering if this sounds like a pinched nerve?

I have this pain in the top of my buttocks. If I move certain ways it catches or something and I have pain that shoots down my leg but the majority of the pain stays at the top of buttock. Could this be a pinched nerve? The pain is serve enough to make me scream out loud. Any info would be appreciated.
No it doesn’t hurt like a bee sting.

I was taking a nap today and when I woke up I moved my leg and I got some the most intense pain I’ve ever had on this spot on my upper calf. It felt like my muscle was being burned or pulled apart in that area. This was the first time something like this happened to me. It lasted about a minute and most of the pain went away but now when I move my leg or walk it hurts, but not nearly as much as when I woke up. Is this a pinched nerve, or muscle pain and what can I do about it?

This April I had taken a trip to disney world with our marching band, and ever since…my big toe has been numb. I’m guessing that it’s a pinched nerve, and I’m sure in attributing this to walking around the parks. Do I really need to see someone about this? How long should it take to heal?

Im 16 weeks pregnant and i was told not to lay flat on my back because it can cause all sorts of naughty things, but i eventually everynight end up falling asleep like that because its most comfy, i wake up every morening with the feeling of a pinched nerve in my back, could it be a result of this?

Can you have a pinched nerve without having pain? I have loss of motor function in my left shoulder, the deltoid specifically, but have no pain or loss of sensation…
And yes, I know it would be something pinched in my neck, more specifically C5-C6 nerves…

As I said, NO PAIN ANYWHERE just loss of function.

I was working out the other day and when I was running I put my head down and had a tingling feeling from the bottom of my bottom to the back of my knees, and now everytime I put my head down I feel the same feeling. Is this a pinched nerve? Should I get this checked out or should I just let it be?

The bulge is pushing on nerves causing severe pain and making it sometimes hard to stand! There is a pinched nerve and the pain shoots down my right leg every now and then.

I just asked this but have some more information. I have this really bad pain in my right butt cheek and my right leg feels like its falling asleep even though i’m up and moving a lot (I’m at work) and once in a while my right wrist and thumb get numb. Does anyone know what this is if it is a pinched nerve or what or has anyone ever had this happen, i have an appt with my dr tomarrow.

On my shin, about 2-3 inches under my knee i have a very sensitive spot. I am in taekwondo and often collide shins while sparring. It is lasting way too long to be a bruise and there are no discolorations or bumps. It causes a lot of pain when touched. Could this be a pinched nerve, or what is it?
