I made an appointment to see a doctor about a month ago & had the appointment scheduled for yesterday. The office accidentally canceled my appointment, and now I am not able to receive a medication that is really important to me right now.
Is this malpractice?
This appt was to receive a second opinion within the office, as the previous doctor was hesitant to prescribe me something but I was told that this doctor would prescribe me something.
I don’t have any standing prescriptions from the office, but I have been receiving treatment here for 2 months.

I was rear ended and have pain in my back, spine, and half of my right arm. I am going to therapy and am taking a ton of prescriptions for my injuries. I have gotten an attorney to handle the case but am unsure about how much I should be getting for this type of injury? I did not ask my lawyer. What is the average amount of settlement to get from this type of injury?

I have something wrong with my back, I have arthritis but there is more going on there, MRI on SUN, I have had a lot of mild and occasionally severe back pain for about 10+ years. I had a spinal tap (lumbar puncture) done to check for spinal menengitis 3 months ago and my back pain is at least 2 levels worse and new symptoms are a lot of spasms and pain radiating out down legs and my arms have spasms too.
For 1, can you qualify for medical marijuana for a bulging disc causing long lasting pain? I already take a bunch of pills that don’t work and go to a pain clinic and therapy for the last 2 months and I live in MI
For 2, would it help? From what I have read I think it might. I’m already taking dangerous prescriptions and they don’t even help much, might as well give medical marijuana a chance right?? I don’t smoke but I could inhale vapors or eat it.
I do know that in MI, if you do not have a debilitation condition but have 1 or more other conditions like spasms, chronic pain etc. that you can get a med card for it but I don’t know, what do you all think?

Health insurers have doctors who review things like requests for prior authorizations. If a doctor who never examines you in person and doesn’t know your medical history overrides your own doctor’s medication or treatment requests, isn’t that malpractice? My own doctor could certainly be sued for writing prescriptions without ever examining me.

My wife messed up her back, we believe its some sort of inflamation related to a possible ruptured disc or something of that nature, the pain is very severe at the moment. she saw a chiropractor and he is reccomending adjustments , but since they cannot write prescriptions, who should we see next for not only a prescription but a 2nd opinion…. I would go thought the normal channels that most people go thru but I dont have medical insurance and dont really want to pay for each shuffle to "someone that knows more about this stuff" …. I understand that an MRI will give a good picture of what is wrong but those are very expensive.
So what kind of doctor should we seek that can give a good diagnosis / second opinion, as well as prescribe Anti-Inflamitorys and give tips for recovery.

Defense Criminal Attorney for court date in Williamson County–Georgetown, TX Best at reducing charge /winning case? DWI with child under 15, refused breath test. Agreed to field sobriety-told that i suffer from severe degenrative arthsis in both feet. Found prescription drugs:hydrocodine, xanex, and adderrall–all of which I have current, legtimate, local specialists prescriptions. Of course failed test because of feet, handcuffed, arrested in front of son–son most distressed, officers not thoughtful toward child. Had small rear end bump to car in front of-no ingury–expired insurance.
