A couple of years ago I was performing my duties on the job site when I slipped and fell down a flight of stairs; injuring my hip and lower back in the process. My supervisor at the time did not provide me with any physical documentation (no paperwork) as to who to contact with a claim. The entity that I was employed by has now dissolved and my claim I feel should be filed against the property owner (the employer (or leaseor) to the work environment of MY employer) for – an unsafe work environment due to neglect. I feel that this injury (to my hip) will require more medical attention if not surgery in the NEAR future. My hip is killing me! Can someone help me?

Is there a waiver form or something similar in which a tenant can sign to waive their right to make claims against the property owner for injury or damage to the tenant’s personal property in California? Please send links or some ideas of what is possible to write up to include in a rental agreement or separately in a waiver. Thanks.
