I did intense HIIT cardio 4 days in a row this past week with some heavy deadlifting thrown in on a sore lower back. Did I strain my sciatic nerve which is now causing this discomfort?

I have a pain that shoots down my right leg. The doctor said that it is my sciatic nerve and he recommended an MRI but my health insurance does not cover it or not the whole thing which costs over 2500.00 and I do not have that kind of money. Any suggestions?

Almost 8 weeks ago I got a pethidine injection when giving birth that hit my sciatic nerve, making the injection not work, and causing some nerve damage, that is still quite painful.
Any approximate idea how long it will take to heal even slightly? Its really getting me down

I have awful sciatica with my pregnancy. I also had it with my first pregnancy and it did go away after delivery. However this time it came on a lot earlier and has been much more severe. I am so worried that my sciatic nerve has been so irritated with both my pregnancies that it will not go "back to normal." does that ever happen? Or will the sciatica for sure go away…gosh I hope so.

I’m having pain in my thighs and butt. I can’t think of any reason except maybe my sciatic nerve. A couple years ago I had a lumbar puncture. I fell down stairs at the weekend and am getting shooting pain running from my pelvis down my leg. I was told by a friend that it was probably my sciatic nerve. How do I know if I’ve injured the nerve? Ad if so what do I do and how long will it take to heal?

I’ve been having pain for the past few weeks in my sciatic nerve. The pain is the worst in the mornings when i first get up out of bed (i can hardly walk it hurts so bad) and in the evenings when i go to bed. (it doesn’t matter how I am laying I have a constant shooting pain)
I’ve tried ice/heat, ibprofen, etc and it works for a short time but then the pain is back. I even tried a muscle relaxer last night and that didn’t do anything.

What are some effective sciatic nerve exercises?

I am 30 weeks and have had some back pain lately. I have also had some pains in my butt muscles that sometimes tend to run down the back of my leg. Is this Sciatica? My doctor said she thinks my daughter is resting on my Sciatic nerve.

This is my 3rd baby. My first baby was also lying on my sciatic nerve & it started about the same time as this pregnancy. I am 22 weeks today and it hurts so bad. Every time I move or get up to walk the pain shoots straight down my right leg. It especially is hurting in my butt area. Okay do I have a bulging disc in my lumbar spine. Ite has pinched my sciatic nerve and a few weeks ago when the pain started I only had pain down the sciatic nerve on my right leg, but got the past week it’s been going down the same line on my left leg and on the insides of my legs. Is it possible for a bulging disc to pinch more than one nerve?

Im 31 weeks and lately ive been having pain that goes from left hip down thigh and left my leg tingling and also my foot. I told my caregiver they just said its sciatic nerve but it doesnt hurt my back…

Has anyone’s little one put pressure on your sciatic nerve? My little guy has and its so painful, nothing i do helps. Does this mean he is head down? Lats check up the dr told me he was on his way head down. Anyone else have this?

I am 14.5 weeks pregnant and wake aup a lot of times in the night with my hips hurting and the right side of my lower back in very bad pain. Occasionally during the day if i have to pee really bad or have been sitting or standing for a long time my back will hurt in that same spot. The only relief is to walk. Does anyone else have this and does anyone know of a good website that gives pictures of where your sciatic nerve is so I can see if that is where my pain is occuring?
